Stepping Out On Faith!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — August 3, 2009:

Have you not heard it said, come unto Me?  For My word declares that if you will come unto Me I will give you rest.  My word declares that if you come unto Me I will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and power.  So again, this day, I say look beyond the natural, look beyond your circumstances.  Submit all you are troubled with unto Me and come so that you might be restored.  Come that you might be renewed.  Come that you might receive the resurrection power of this day.  For I the Lord God of Heaven have not forgotten you.  In fact My Father God  has written your name on His hand that you would not be forgotten.  I never forget My people.  I understand what they are going through.  The answer is in this one simple word, come.  Come unto to Me and I will give you rest, says the Lord God.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — August 3, 2009:

In a vision I saw a large, water storage tank with holes all over it and water leaking out. And, I heard the Lord say that this is how it has been in the Body of Christ and in ministry. But, the Spirit of the Lord will show us where the leaks exist and how to stop them, and He will give us the wisdom we need to keep and maintain His anointing. These leaks also represent the leaking out of spiritual and physical vitality through disappointment and discouragement. As soon as the vision ended there was a full, vibrant rainbow visible from our window that faces east, along with a horizontal rainbow against the mountain below. And, we know that God often punctuates His promises in this way. Awesome!

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

After reading this message in the early morning hours, one may have known that the Lord may have been beckoning one to come.  He may have asked and asked.  One may not have been able to ignore or question the call anymore.

One may have sprung into action after doing a search on google and reading an article on “How to praise the Lord”.  One may have known that the book that one may be reading “The Anointing” by Benny Hinn may not be coincidental.

One may have gotten in one’s car around 4 AM and may have driven up to a local church’s back parking lot near one’s home.  One may have praised the Lord in the dark, with tears flowing from one’s eyes.  One may have begun to get cold.  One may have turned the key in the ignition and pressed the clutch, while still praising, only to have the car lurch forward when one may have released the clutch.  The car may have been in gear.  This may have broken one’s praise.

One may have turned the car on again and pumped the heat.  One may have tried to get back into praise mode.  One may have begun to fall asleep and go right into dream mode.  One’s thoughts may have been cluttered with the enemy’s junk.  One’s thoughts may have been highjacked.  One may have decided to leave and go home.

On the way home, one may have said, “No,” and turned around and went back to the church parking lot.  One may have tried again to get into praise mode.  One’s attempts may have been unsuccessful.  One’s flesh may have been in control and may have wanted sleep and may have been a vehicle for the thoughts of the enemy.  One may have given up.  One may have come home and may have gone to bed.
