Upward Journey!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 30, 2009:

In a dream I found myself in a cave and then in a narrow passage climbing almost straight up. It seemed that I was leading a group of people through this passage. It was a really tight squeeze, and I wondered if I would make it through the places where the rock opening was only big enough for me to climb through. I had to fight the fear of getting stuck, and had to just kept pushing on. It seemed like a long way, but I and those with me finally got to a place where the cave opened into a large room with a level floor. There were windows in the cave that overlooked a harbor far below. I asked the Lord, and He said that the cave and the upward journey represent those of us who have encountered difficult circumstances and that we must keep moving forward. We are about to reach a place of safety and security far above the storms that we’ve endured. Breakthrough is imminent!

Psalm 107:23-31 Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business on great waters, they see the works of the LORD, and His wonders in the deep. For He commands and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves of the sea. They mount up to the heavens, they go down again to the depths; their soul melts because of trouble. They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end. Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm, so that its waves are still. Then they are glad because they are quiet; so He guides them to their desired haven. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!

One may have awakened early this morning.  One may have logged onto one’s computer and checked out Face Book and Twitter.

One may have gone into the bathroom and began to clean it.  One may come out a few minutes before one’s start time.  One checked the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.

One returned to the bathroom.  AT 3:30 AM, one may have begun to praise the Lord while continuing to clean. One may have confessed one’s sins and then thanked the Lord.

One may have become very sleepy.  One wanted to leave, but knew better.  One got up and spoke in tongues.  One began to pray for the sick.  When one finished praying for the sick, one spoke in tongues and sang praises to the Lord again.

One would alternate frequently between standing and sitting.  Whenever one sat down, one would feel so sleepy.  One’s eyes would close and one would catch oneself dozing off.

One may have checked the time over and over again.  Oh how one wanted to go lie down to sleep.

When one finished at 4:30 AM, one may have gone and lied down immediately.  The desire to sleep was not present anymore.

Always Darkest Before Dawn!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 29, 2009:

You’ve heard it said that it is always darkest before the dawn, and I also tell you that things are most difficult just before breakthrough. But, breakthrough is right before you, just ahead. Keep pushing. Don’t sit down, give up, or turn back. Be strong and stay steady until this thrust carries you forward and beyond the defensive line of the enemy. Be victorious, says the Lord.

Psalms 7:12 If he does not turn back, he will sharpen his sword; he bends his bow and makes it ready.

One may have awakened in the early hours of the morning.  One may have been in pain.  One’s right arm and neck hurt, along with one’s left ankle.  One may have felt very discouraged.

One may have gotten up and logged onto one’s computer.  One may have written out the events from one’s time with the Lord from 09/28/09.  One may have also went on Twitter and Face Book.

One may have gone into the bathroom and began to clean it.  One may have come out a little before one’s start time.  One checked the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  It may have been encouraging.

While in the bathroom, one began to praise the Lord.  One still had to clean the tub, so one kept singing and cleaning.  One may have confessed one’s sins and then thanked the Lord.

At 4:00 AM, one may have had a desire to end early.  One may not have felt well.  One left the bathroom and got on the computer.  One continued to speak in tongues.  At some point, one stopped along the way and had not noticed until one looked at the time; it may have been 4:30 AM.

Something may have occurred after one may have fallen off to sleep which may have led one to  believe that it was not okay for one to stop and to leave one’s prayer closet.  One may believe, it’s no longer optional.

Lord Jesus, please help me through this.  Please strengthen me, Lord Jesus, in Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.

These Are The Days!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — Sept. 28, 2009:

You will no longer have to wait for the manifestation of My presence, says the Lord. For these are the days in which I shall come and touch. These are the days in which I shall come and breathe upon you. These are the days that I shall come and release My people from the bondages of the enemy. For there is a cry going forth across the land; the cry of My Spirit; the cry of My voice. Listen and you shall hear. Watch and see and you shall know for I am about to perform in this land and among My people the greatest manifestation of My glory that ever has been seen on this earth. In the days of old they watched for the fire upon the tent; in those days they watched for the cloud. In these days you will watch for the manifest presence of the Holy One and the breath of the Spirit shall come upon you and move you as the wind of His glory; into the fullness of His purposes. For I the Lord God have not forgotten My people.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 28, 2009:

Refuse to allow fear or worry to keep you from My blessings, says the Lord. Quiet your soul and be resolute in belief that I am bringing complete restoration to every area of your life. Do not doubt or be double-minded. Stand strong and unwavering in your faith, for I will do all that I have promised.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

One may have awakened this morning.  One may have begun to prepare the bathroom.  The dog may have come in and whined to let one know, he had to go potty.  One may have stopped cleaning to take the dog out.

One may have come back in and was running behind schedule.  One began to clean again.  For some reason one may have let the dog stay in the bathroom.  One may have begun one’s praise and worship, while continuing to clean the bathroom.  One confessed one’s sins and thanked the Lord.  The dog may have wanted to be pet and rubbed occasionally, during this time.

It may have been exactly 4:00 AM, the dog whined again to go outside.  One thought it odd and did not want to go, yet one knew that the dog needed to be taken care of right then.  One opened the door and proceeded out of the bathroom with the dog.

As soon as one entered the living room area, one saw the fish bowl with fish supplies inside, lying on the floor.  One noticed that the metal shelving on the stand for the fish tank had been lifted and the stand was in danger of collapsing.  One hurriedly put the metal shelf back in place, securing the fish tank.  If the fish tank had fallen, the result would have been disastrous.

One wondered if what one saw had been done by the cats.  It may have seemed quite odd that the cats could or would lift this metal shelf.  One wondered, “Who did this?”

One may have put two Gallon water jugs on the shelving to secure it.  Thanks Lord for leading one out of the bathroom.

One may have taken the dog out again.  One may have come back in and finished one’s special time with the Lord by speaking in tongues.  One may have come out a little early and finished speaking in tongues on the sofa until 4:30 AM.

Quiet Your Soul & Seek My Face!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 25, 2009:

Refuse to be overwhelmed by looking forward to what might demand your time, energy and resources — those things that you have to consider, plan for, or take into account. My grace is sufficient for the demands of today. Take one moment at a time and one step at a time and trust Me with all your heart. Remember that frustration will remove you from My presence and take you off course. I will give you wisdom and guidance, but you must quiet your soul and seek My face, says the Lord.

Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

One may have awakened early last night and began to record the events of the last few days, in one’s daily log.  One may have read the Spirit of prophecy Bulletin and then proceeded to one’s prayer closet.  One may have prepared the bathroom and oneself for this special time with Jesus as usual.

One may have felt encouraged by today’s message.  One may have felt stressed and frustrated, lately.  One may not have known that this attitude may take one out from the Lord’s presence.  Not cool.  Thanks Jesus!

One may do an attitude overhaul as the Lord has suggested, by looking forward to the tasks that may come before one, with a positive attitude.

One’s home life may be quite stressful and one may carry burdens instead of giving them to Jesus.  One’s right arm may have been hurting last night because of the worry and frustration about one’s current situation.

One may have begun one’s prayer time by praising the Lord.  One confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.  With the little time left, one may have spoke in tongues.

One may continually press into Jesus.  One may be looking and anticipating His manifestation to one.  At times, one may feel like giving up and quitting.  One may consistently dismiss the thought, believing that one may be close to breakthrough.

Lord Jesus, PLEASE!

The Flow Of My Spirit!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 24, 2009:

The flow of My Spirit will be like a fast-moving river in this season. Opportunities for change will present themselves suddenly and without hesitation or warning, and I will give you great wisdom to know how to deal with all that comes your way. Do not be afraid to allow the river to carry you, says the Lord. I will not leave you nor forsake you, beloved. I am with you, says the Lord.

Ezekiel 47:3-5 And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came up to my ankles. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came up to my waist. Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed.

One may have awakened last night and logged onto one’s computer.  One may have read the Spirit of prophecy Bulletin and then proceeded to one’s prayer closet.  One may have prepared the bathroom and oneself for this special time with Jesus.

One may have begun on time.  One may have felt good.  A lot of stress may be gone and things may be quieter for now.  Thanks Jesus!  One went through one’s usual routine of praising, confessing one’s sins and speaking in tongues.

One may have prayed for an individual on Tuesday.  One may have spoke to the individual, yesterday and found out that God had moved on their behalf.  The individual may have been sick and unable to attend church.  They may have told one, to keep praying for them, they were going to church, for the first time in six weeks.  Praise You Jesus!  This is what it’s all about.  Lord, thank you for healing them, in Jesus’ name.

Battle Cry!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — Sept. 23, 2009:

The glory is right before you; your feet even on the threshold of that door that has been opened. Do not fear and do not worry about the signs in the earth, for indeed those things that are written shall come. There shall be indeed wars and rumors of them. Pestilence, hunger; all of these things are a sign of the end of the age. But you, My people, will be covered and provided for and will dwell in the safety of My glory. You have been told through the voice of the prophets that you should leave those things which are behind and press toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus. Your high calling, not others, not the churches, YOUR high calling — that which is yours to fulfill and no one else. So arise, I say, and shake off the dust of the defilement of the world, and shake off the dust of failure. Shake off the dust of condemnation. Arise to your position. For indeed it is time for the sons of David to arise into the heavenly places where the lightning of God shall go forth to destroy the enemy at the sound of your voice, where victory will come. So do not forget the day of small beginnings, says the Lord, but these are now the days of glory; the days of great things and the culmination of the end of the age to come. Arise now from the dust of defeat and soar like an eagle. Gather your weapons, for I will teach you fingers how to make war. The enemy will come, but he will be astounded at the strength of My people for he has not anticipated your resolve, your commitment, and your faith in Me to bring you forth into victory. Indeed it shall become a battle cry, “I can do all things through Christ Jesus, the anointed one and His anointing. Nothing shall deter me.” Victory is assured, says the Lord Almighty.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 23, 2009:

Establish yourself in the confidence that I am with you to perform all of My Word, says the Lord. I AM Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. I AM your shield and exceedingly great reward. I AM your light, your salvation, and the strength of your life. I AM your healer. I AM your rock, your fortress, and your high tower. I AM your deliverer. Put your confidence and trust in Me.

Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

One may have awakened around 3 AM last night.  The dog may have urinated on the carpet again.  One may have been so angry, one put the dog in one’s daughters bathroom.

One may have cleaned the carpet with the shampooer.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin a little after 3:30 AM.  One still had to prepare the bathroom for one’s prayer time. While in the bathroom, one checked the time, it may have been 3:34 AM.

One may have begun to praise and clean the bathroom at the same time.   One may have confessed one’s sins, which took up most of one’s special time.  One ended this time with the Lord, by speaking in tongues.

One may have asked the Lord for help with the dog.  One may believe the dog’s behavior is demonic.  This may not be the dog’s typical behavior.  One may have gone through this before on occasion and it surely, has passed.

One may have to try to control one’s anger; it may be difficult.  One may have thought to get rid of the dog and cats; that of course, would be too easy.

Please help one to endure, Lord Jesus.

Divine Directives!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — Sept. 22, 2009:

I have come to you today My people to prepare you. I’ve come to open your ears. I have come to place a desire so deep down within your spirit that the travail of it shall call you to a higher place than you have been. The travail of that which I am doing in your spirit man will cause you to awaken out of a slumber and come forth into the majesty that I have called you; into the glory that I have prepared for you. Call these the days of wonder if you will, watch for the signs, listen for My voice. For, divine directives shall come into your ears. And when I call you to pray, do so, in faith. When I call you to proclaim, do so, in faith. When I call you even to write a divine decree, do so, in faith. No good thing will I withhold from you in these days, says the Lord. But, you must be ready; you must be ready to mount up and ride on the wind of My presence; you must be ready to search out the things that I have hidden within you; you must become a treasure hunter, says the Lord God. For many gems have been placed within your spirit; revelations of these days. Many of you have longed for these days for you know that I will speak, and you know that a prophetic voice will arise and come forth; you know that words of wisdom and the words of knowledge shall come; that tongues shall be spoken; that interpretation will be given. These things I say will indeed multiply in the days that are before you.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 22, 2009:

Be strong and stay steady. You need to renew yourself in an eternal perspective to know that you are experiencing momentary, light affliction. Cast your cares on Me. Lean on Me and allow My strength to manifest in your place of weakness. Let your worship become a platform of encouragement and renewal, as you come before My face, says the Lord.

Psalms 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

One may have visited with one’s friend and neighbor last night.  While there, one’s right arm may have been hurting.  One may have had trouble trying to shoo the bugs that may have come near to one.  One’s neighbor may have suggested exercise.  One may have said that it was stress and that one’s family may be going through.

One may have gone to bed with the pain in one’s right arm, raging.  During the night, the pain may have increased to the point that one may have awakened several times, out of one’s sleep.  One may have gotten fed up and angry at the devil and the havoc that he has caused lately, in one’s life.  One prayed with authority for one’s arm to be healed in Jesus’ name.  When one may have awakened to prepare for one’s prayer time, the pain in one’s right arm may have been gone.  Hallelujah!  Thank you Jesus.

One may have discovered, soon after, that the dog had urinated on the carpet.  This may have been the third time in the last few days.  One may be truly going through.  The dog may be house trained.  One may go through this from time to time, only God knows why.  One may have shampooed the carpet in this area.  One may have been angry but did not react to the dog.  The dog may have gone into one’s daughter’s room to bed down for the night; he may have been humble.

One may have prepared the bathroom and oneself for this special time with Jesus.  One may have started out with confession of one’s sins.  This may have taken up a majority of one’s time.  One sang praises to the Lord.  One finished this special time, speaking in tongues.
