Trust Me To Empower You!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 2, 2009:

The enemy has tried to rob you of confidence and strength, but he has not succeeded in debilitating you. Your setback has been temporary, and you will now begin to recover all that has been stolen. Your efforts to rise up will meet with some resistance, but you can quite easily overcome the hindering forces aligned against you. Trust Me to empower you, and I will do it, says the Lord.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me, says the LORD.

One may have awakened this morning around 1 AM.  One may have gotten on the computer.  One may have gone to Twitter and posted “Lord, I eagerly await your message for today. I pray for wisdom, knowledge and understanding from above. I receive it, in Jesus’ name.”  One may have cleaned the bathroom.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin just before going in to one’s prayer closet.

One may have started on time.  One may have confessed one’s sins, praised the Lord with song and thanked Him.  One may have tried to get quiet at 4:00 AM.  One may have had many distractions come to one’s mind.  One may have decided to pray in tongue.  One may have become tired and left the bathroom around 4:15 AM.

One may have continued to pray in tongue while lying on the couch.  One had put the cats in the bathroom.  One began to doze off.  One may have caught oneself.  One may believe an angel gently nudges one to wake one up.

One may have heard a door open and close.  One may have called one’s daughter’s name.  The dog may have been resting on his bedding.  The cats were put away.  Something said to go and see.

One went and opened one’s daughter’s door.  The individual may have been sleeping.  One’s daughter woke up suddenly, she may have sat straight up, startled.  One may have shared about hearing the door open and close.

One may have gone back to the living room couch.  One may have laid down and prayed for Jesus to handle whatever caused the noise.  One may have asked for a peaceful night’s rest.

One prayed in tongues some more.  One decided to check the time.  It may have been 4:32 AM.  One did not hear the alarm.  One thought that it may have gone off while one was in one’s daughter’s room.  One may have fallen asleep.  One may have had a good night’s rest.
