The New Plateau!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — Sept. 14, 2009:

Rise up, My people, and take your position on the new foundation that I have established for you in this season, says the Lord.  I put into your hand today a broom that you may begin by sweeping off the ashes of the wood, the hay, the stubble, so that your foundation can be swept clean; so that you will begin again in this season to build with precious gems, gold, and silver.  For I have determined to have a house in the end of the age that is without spot and without wrinkle. It will be a house filled with all the glory of My purposes and the glory of My presence; a house in which people can be healed; a house in which people can receive revelation. It will be a house on which the glory of the Father will come for those in the world to see, and they will know absolutely that there is still a God in Heaven who cares, a God who speaks, and a God who does.  So arise now to your station.  This foundation, My people, is higher than any you have known before.  It has even been called the New Plateau.  It is the plateau of My purposes.  It is the table of the Lord.  It is a habitation where I will come and dine with My people.  I’ll come in this season, and I will prove My kingdom not only to the Church, but to the world itself, says the Glorious One.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 14, 2009:

I am going to shine a light that will bring new definition to your life experience. You will begin to see things in a way that further defines destiny and purpose and illuminates details you have overlooked or taken for granted. You will be able to see spiritually with more clarity, and your perceptions will be forever changed. This is a new work of the Holy Spirit that will come upon you suddenly, says the Lord.
(And, I thought of Paul’s Damascus-Road experience.)

Acts 22:6 “Now it happened, as I journeyed and came near Damascus at about noon, suddenly a great light from heaven shone around me.
9-10 “And those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me. So I said, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ And the Lord said to me, ‘Arise and go into Damascus, and there you will be told all things which are appointed for you to do.'”

One may have awakened this morning.  The alarm may have gone off and one may have just lain there.  One may have felt discouraged.  One’s body was in pain, one could hardly move.  One’s ankle pain was raging.

The thought to skip this special time with the Lord kept coming to one’s mind.  One thought, “How can one worship the Lord in this pain.”

One may have managed to get up and go into the bathroom.  One thought to do light cleaning, only.  One may have managed somehow to clean the bathroom as usual, through this pain in one’s body.

One may have wondered, “Where is Jesus, why hasn’t He healed me?”  One may have prayed and prayed for the healing of one’s ankle, recently.

One may have started one’s time with the Lord a few minutes late.  One may have sung songs of praise, confessed one’s sins and thanked the Lord.  One may have begun to speak in tongues.

After a while, one thought to leave the bathroom. The desire may have become so strong one could hardly stand it.  One may have fought against it and stayed the full duration, one hour.

One may have finished the last few minutes of one’s time singing to the Lord.

At this present moment, one’s ankle may feel much better.  Thank you Jesus!
