Stepping Stone Or Tombstone!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 15, 2009:

Beloved, your difficult circumstances can either be a stepping stone to the manifestation of My grace and glory, or they will be a tombstone that represents the death of hope. Right now, today, choose life and see the working out of My strength being made perfect in your weakness. This is certainly no time to retreat or give up; it is a time to re-fire and move forward with renewed faith. Rise up and refuse to allow the enemy to use your current situation to neutralize you, says the Lord.

2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

One may have awakened this morning this morning at 3:53 AM.  One may have overslept.  One may have gotten up and prepared the bathroom so that one could spend time with the Lord in one’s prayer closet.  One may have logged onto one’s computer and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.

One may have begun by confessing one’s sins.  One may have repented for oversleeping.   One may have thought that one had set one’s alarm on one’s cell phone, one had not.  One confessed all sins that one remembered committing as well as those unknown to one, to have done.

One may have thanked the Lord for the way He may be moving in one and one’s children’s lives.  One’s children may be experiencing extreme favor from the Lord.  One’s son may be under the attack of the enemy, yet the trouble has come very near, even at the door and yet he remained unscathed.  God has supernaturally delivered him and God’s favor has been unreal to where people are asking the right questions, appearing at the right time, doing that which is righteous and giving extraordinary support to help his situation.  My God, how great Thou art!

One’s daughter may be moving into a new apartment very soon that she had not applied for and desperately needed.  One’s daughter got the offer before she returned the application.  She may have had the application for over two months.  One may have written previously that there may have been a two to three year wait; actually, it may take three to four years to get a three bedroom apartment in this particular place.  Thank you Jesus, for only You could do this!

One may not be in pain.  The night before last (Monday morning), may have been unbearable due to aches, pains and stress.  Lord, thank you for healing my ankle.  It may be swollen, not as much as it had been previously and yet there is no pain.  If you press down on the inner part of the left ankle, there is very minimal pain; other than that, it may seem close to normal.  All other body aches have disappeared and so has the concern.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have been led to call a mighty man of God on Saturday night concerning one’s son’s situation.  He may have given one spiritual advice for one’s son.  One mentioned one’s ankle and how it started hurting and was swollen for no reason at all. One may have shared that one heard in the spirit, “Arthritis!”  The mighty man of God directed one to Ezekiel 16:6 and told one to read the scripture and replace the scripture with one’s name and it (demonic spirit) would flee.

When one got off the phone, one may have grabbed one’s bible and went to one’s prayer closet and said aloud:

Ezekiel 16:6 And when I passed by Yona, and saw Yona polluted in Yona’s own blood, I said unto Yona when Yona wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto Yona when Yona wast in Yona’s blood, Live.

One may have finished up one’s special time, speaking in tongues, praising and singing to the Lord, God Almighty.

One may have been so grateful and thankful last night.  One could feel the tears well up, when one thought how God has brought one through, so many times.  One and one’s family members may be going through a storm and the Lord is our present help.  He is delivering us out of every situation.

Praise you Father God, in the highest heaven, In Jesus name, amen.
