Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — October 13, 2009:

You have made it over the hump. The worst is behind you, and now you can progress unhindered. I have brought you through just as I had promised, says the Lord. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad. Rise up in praise, honor and glory to the Holy One of Israel, Almighty God, for He is worthy to be praised. Open your heart and let your words pour fourth in adoration and thanksgiving. Let the angels rejoice with you and give thunderous praise. Amen.

Psalms 118:24 This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

One may have awakened at 3:00 AM but did not get up until 3:15 AM.    One may have logged on and checked for the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  It may have loaded as one retrieved one’s e-mail.  One may have read the prophecy and thought, “Lord are you talking to me?”

One went into the bathroom and began to clean it.  One knew that one would not be done by 3:30 AM, so one sat the alarm so that one would know to began singing and praising the Lord at the appointed time.

One may have started singing while cleaning.  After the first song, one may have thanked the Lord.  One may have been excited about the prophecy message for today.  One may have thought about the language the Lord may have used, “Made it over the hump.”  One smiled and said, “Lord you are so cool.” One may have been overjoyed by the thought of being over the hump, unhindered and most of all, making it through.  The Lord said to be glad, so one was glad.  One sang a few more songs and thanked the Lord again.

One confessed one’s sins and prayed for the sick.  One finished by speaking in tongues.  One left at exactly 4:30 AM.  One logged onto a particular website and prayed for individuals who had left prayer requests.

This morning one’s son may have been lying in bed and he somehow turned and hurt his spine to the point that he cried out and was afraid to move.  One may have thought that he was playing at first.  When realize that he was serious, one may have reached down, laid hands on the individual and prayed for Jesus to heal him.

One may have been thanking the Lord for healing one’s son.  One’s son may have said, “How many times are you going to say amen?”  One may have said, “Never interrupt someone when they are praying and thanking the Lord for what He has done.”  One may have thought that this prayer was a sure miss.  At that moment one’s son may have said, ”The pain is gone!”  One may have looked at one’s son with disbelief written all over one’s face.”  One’s son may have said, “Really, it just went away.”  One may have thought, wow, that was fast.  One may have thought about how gracious and merciful the Lord may be.  One remembered the Lord’s word from the prophecy, “unhindered.”

Thank you Lord Jesus, for everything, in Jesus’ name.
