Watch And Be On Guard!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — October 16, 2009:

Be strong! Watch for a lying spirit to open the door to a spirit of fear. Watch and be on guard; do not allow the enemy to gain a foothold in any area of your life. Defeat him where you find him, and put your faith and trust in Me, says the Lord, for I am well able to bring you through any challenge. Stand on the firm foundation of My promises to you, refusing to budge one inch from what you know to be the truth.

1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

One may have awakened very early.  One may have done some work on the computer.  One may have tried to go back to sleep, but could not.

One may have begun one’s praise time at 3:30 AM.  One confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and spoke in tongues.

During one’s confessions, one may have felt an urge to ask the Lord to forgive one for missing the mark on June 12, 2009.  One may have asked for forgiveness time and time again for this mistake in the past.

This particular gifting that the Lord had been revealing in one has not occurred since that day.  One may have laid one’s head against the wall with one’s face facing toward it.  With all one’s heart one apologized to the Lord.  One may have mentioned to the Lord that the anointing for this gift has been absent in one’s life.  One may have been truly sorry.

When one opened one’s eyes and looked toward the sink, one’s eyes fell on the words “Angel of Mine.”  One may have been so encouraged by these words.  One may have smiled.  One knew that Jesus was speaking to one and had forgiven one; what He has called one to be and do in this life would come to pass, for the Lord is truly faithful.  Thank you Jesus.

After one’s prayer time, one logged onto a particular website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  One may have begun to get sleepy and had some trouble staying focused at times.  One may have finished and immediately bedded down for the night.
