Resist This Attack And Trust Me, Says The Lord!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Nov. 24, 2009:

I have already led you in the way of broad-sweeping changes both spiritually and in the natural realm that are necessary to prepare you for the next leg of your journey. But now, I will show you places where small changes will bring greater definition and clarity — things that need to be tweaked. You are in a time of fine-tuning, and I will lead you and give you wisdom in this. Don’t be afraid that you will overlook something or miss out on My plans and purposes. And, I tell you the truth, the enemy has released an assignment of torment against My people of self-doubt and condemnation to keep you from moving forward with confidence and boldness. Resist this attack and trust Me, says the Lord.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

One may have awakened around 1 AM this morning.  One may have cleaned both bathrooms, wrote in one’s log of recent activities and then laid back down to get a little more sleep before one’s special time with Jesus.

The alarm may have gone off at 3:00 AM.  One may have reset it for 3:15AM.  When the alarm went off one may have headed to the computer to check the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.

One’s keyboard batteries were low so one may have logged onto one’s computer and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  It may have been another awesome message from the Lord.

One may have attempted to change the batteries before one went into one’s prayer closet.  One may have put the dying batteries on the charger.  One may have discovered that one of the charged batteries was missing.   One thought to check a video game controller but decided against it; one did not want to wake those who were sleeping.  One had to take a battery from the mouse to use for the keyboard when necessary.

One grabbed one’s Bible and notebook and went to one’s prayer closet.  One may have started praising with song.  One confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and then one asked the Lord to lead one to a passage of scripture.  The Lord led one to 1 Samuel 16.  One asked again and the Lord led one to Isaiah 54.

One may have spoke in tongues the remainder of the time.  One may have felt very tired and had to stand and walk around in order to stay awake.  The time may have gone slower than one desired.

One may have left one’s prayer closet and logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  One had to fight through one’s sleepiness.  Lord I pray that you heard and answered each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus name.
