See And Discern The Times And Seasons, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 31, 2009:

Open your eyes. See and discern the times and seasons, says the Lord. You are in a time of renovation and restoration. It is a time of spiritual cleaning, repairing and rebuilding. What you see in the natural realm is a sign of what is transpiring in the spirit realm. I am renewing and restoring you to a new life and vigor. Take heart, and yield to this spiritual stimulation that will invigorate you at the deepest level of your being.

Psalms 135:6 Whatever the LORD pleases He does, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deep places.

One may have awakened to the alarm at 3:11 AM.  One may have headed to the bathroom.  One’s throat may have felt sore and one thought that one was going to have to take cold medication.  One may have been concerned how one would handle the medication on an empty stomach.

One may have prepared oneself for one’s prayer time with Jesus.  One may have logged onto the computer and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One grabbed one’s Bible and headed for one’s prayer closet.

One began by singing praises to the Lord.  One may be so excited at how Jesus has been knocking down one and one’s children’s obstacles lately.  One may be overjoyed.  Everything may be falling into place.  One may be truly amazed.

One may have talked with the Lord about things on one’s heart.  Good things.  One may have confessed one’s sins and prayed for the sick.  Somewhere along the way, one may have noticed that one’s throat did not hurt anymore.  It may have been perfectly normal with no pain at all.  Thank you Jesus.  One stood and lifted one’s Bible towards heaven as one may have asked the Lord for today’s scripture.  One may have been led to Isaiah 30.

One may have left one’s prayer closet and prayed for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord Jesus, thank you for answering each prayer request, in Jesus’ name, amen.

You Will Be Able To See From A New Vantage Point

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 30, 2009:

You are beginning to awaken from what seems to have been a deep sleep and troubling dreams. The circumstances that have dictated the direction of your life have been bizarre and disorienting, but now you will begin to have greater understanding and clarity of purpose. Do not mourn over what seems to be lost; things had to change in this course correction. In the process, you certainly have not lost Me, says the Lord, but you are about to embrace destiny in reality. You will be able to see from a new vantage point.

Isaiah 41:18 I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

One may have awakened at 3:00 AM.  One may have had a few weird dreams.  In one of the dreams, a neighbor’s (from the neighborhood where one may have grown up) dog may have attacked one.  It may have had one by the throat but it did not hurt.  When the owner came, they may have been too slow to get their dog.  When they attempted to move the dog, the dog tightened its’ grip around one’s throat.  One may have become enraged and said a few choice words and then one woke up.  How weird?  One may have prayed only to go back to sleep and have two more weird dreams.

One may have logged onto one’s computer and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have confessed one’s sins including the sin from one’s dream.  When one had awakened from the first dream, one may have felt the anger still lingering.  One may have thanked the Lord after confessing one’s sins.

One may have had one’s hand in the bible and just opened it.  One may have thought, “I have to be led by the Lord.”  Again, one may have gone to another passage of scripture but one may have felt that one had prayed half-heartedly.  Finally, one looked up to heaven, stood up and lifted one’s Bible as high as one could and asked the Lord to give one the scripture for the day.  One may have opened one’s Bible to Proverbs 29.

One may have left one’s prayer closet and logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer according to your perfect will.

One may have forgotten what the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin may have said this morning as one may have shared the events of the night.  One may have just finished reading the first sentence and laughed with disbelief.  One’s daughter’s eyes may have met one’s eyes with a question.  One may have shared what had just taken place.  How strange that one decided to share one’s dream.  Hmmm?

Prepare To Move Forward Without Regret

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 29, 2009:

Prepare to move forward without regret. Distress and sorrow will only keep you bound to the past. Now is the time to release everything that has caused you to mourn, and as you deliberately let go, you will be released to rise up in the realm of My peace and joy. I speak to many of you, My people, who have believed the devil’s lies that there is nothing to live for or hope for, but I tell you the truth that you can’t even imagine what I have in store for you, says the Lord.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

One may have awakened this morning from the sound of the alarm.  One may have reset it to 3:30 AM.  One may have done this unconsciously.  One may need to be in one’s prayer closet by 3:30 AM.

At 3:16 AM, one may have gotten a call from one’s son informing one that he and his wife had made it to their destinations safely.  After hanging up one may have laid down to rest.

At 3:28 AM one realized one’s error and jumped up and headed for the computer.  One may read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin; grabbed one’s Bible and few other items and headed for one’s prayer closet.

One began with praise and worship to the Lord as usual.  While in one’s prayer closet and in the middle of confessing, one noticed belongings that belonged to one’s son and his wife.  Without thought one may have called the individuals.

After hanging up with one’s son, one’s daughter called one and asked one to make a bottle for the baby.  One may have said that this was one’s prayer time and one should not have been on the phone or in the room with them.  One may have made the bottle.

One may have gone back to one’s prayer closet.  One may have asked the Lord to forgive one.  One may have finished confessing one’s sins and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Ezekiel 46.

One left one’s prayer closet.  One may have spoken with one’s daughter briefly.  One may have logged onto the site to pray for outstanding prayer requests.

Stay With Me Through The Storms Of Life, And The Greatness Of The Kingdom Shall Be Your Gift

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — Dec. 28, 2009:

I would prophesy to you in the name of Jesus Christ that He is for you and not against you.  He knows what you have gone through, and He knows where He is about to take you.  He wants you to know today that out of the bad will come the good.  And, out of that which is weak will come the strength.  Out of the trouble that has come into your life God Himself will make a judgment in the heavenlies and overturn Satan’s ruling.  The glory of His majesty will be found as a canopy over you.  The Lord says to you today, do not be disheartened, do not be discouraged, My children.  Only believe, rise up in faith; rise up to your kingdom position; rise up to a new level of faith.  Rise up, I say, and know that I am for you.  I am leading you and guiding you into the fullness of your destiny, and I will be with you on this journey until the very end of the age.  Your destiny has already been sealed; it has already been written and it shall come to pass if you will only believe.  Abide in Me, walk with Me, stay with Me through the storms of life, and the greatness of the kingdom shall be your gift.  Out of that kingdom shall flow all that you need, all that you require, all that you desire, says the Lord of Hosts.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 28, 2009:

I kept hearing *gun-shy in my spirit. Then, I heard the Lord: You keep recoiling at the first hint of adversity because of all that you’ve been through. But, I’m calling you forth to a new level of boldness so that you can press through with power that comes from the assurance that I am with you and will give you the strength to overcome.

John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

*gun-shy: distrustful, afraid, cautious.

One may have awakened this morning to the sound of the alarm at 3:00 AM.  One may have reset it for 3:25 AM.  This latter action may have caused one to be late for one’s prayer time with Jesus.  Please forgive one Lord, in Jesus’ name.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin and may have been so encouraged.  The messages may be true, accurate and straight from the Throne Room of God.

One may want to share two prophecies that had been given in 2007 concerning one’s children.  It may have been said that the Lord had prepared a husband for one’s daughter and a wife for one’s son.

One’s son may have married on November 6th of this year which happened to be the birthday of one’s daughter’s new husband and one’s beloved sister who passed away in 1971.  One’s daughter may have married on Christmas day, 2009.  Thank you Lord Jesus for setting it all up.  One may be excited at how the Lord may be moving in one’s life.  Thank you Lord Jesus!

Other events may be churning that one may share at a later time.  One may be excited for the Lord is truly faithful and able to deliver.  Thank you Lord Jesus!   One may give You all the glory, honor and praise in the highest heaven!

One may have confessed one’s sins, prayed for the sick and prayed for the Lord to lead one to a passage of scripture.  One may have stood up and held one’s Bible up to heaven while praying to the Lord.  One may have opened the Bible and one’s eyes fell on Ezekiel 28:11.

It may have been exactly 4:30 AM, one had to leave one’s prayer closet without reading the scripture for today.  One may have to pray for outstanding prayer requests on a certain website at this appointed hour of the morning.

One may be sure to read the entire chapter Ezekiel 28.  One may be familiar with this passage of scripture and may want to understand what the Lord is saying today and how it may relate to one’s life.

Lord Jesus, thank you for moving in one’s life, thank you for choosing the scripture for today.  Thank you Lord for answering one’s prayers and the prayer requests, in Jesus’ name, one may pray, amen.

Receive With Joy And Bask In The Sweetness Of My Presence

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 25, 2009:

I’m giving you an extra measure of grace. I will exert My holy influence over your life to strengthen you and bolster your faith, says the Lord. If you will discern it, you will find and enjoy the unusual fragrance of My company. Receive with joy, and bask in the sweetness of My presence. Come and find your delight and rest with Me.

2 John 1:3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

Merry Christmas!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

One may have awakened round 2:30 AM this morning.  One may have posted one’s blog from yesterday.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have proceeded to one’s prayer closet.

One may have begun with song and praise to the Lord.  One may have had a strong desire for the Lord this morning.  One may have prayed for a closer walk and relationship with Jesus.  One may have thought about what the Lord said in yesterday’s message, “Your wish is My command.”  One may have been encouraged by this statement and had an insatiable appetite for more of Jesus as one prayed.

One may have spent most of one’s time confessing one’s sins.  While standing, one may have lifted one’s bible to heaven and asked the Lord to lead one to the scripture of His choosing for the day.  One may have prayed several ways for this request before actually opening one’s Bible.

One may have opened one’s Bible and one’s eyes fell on Jeremiah 10:19.  One may have read to the end of this chapter.  One may have read Jeremiah 11:1-9.  It may have been one’s time to leave one’s prayer closet, so one may finish reading Jeremiah 10 and Jeremiah 11 at a later time.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer according to your perfect will, amen.

Your Wish Is My Command, And Your Request Will Not Go Unanswered

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 24, 2009:

Let Me lead you in a profound relationship with Me, says the Lord. I speak to those whose hearts desire spiritual intimacy, and as you express your desire by crying out to Me, I will take you on a path that you could only have imagined in times past. Your wish is My command, and your request will not go unanswered. My heart searches the earth, and my eyes look to and fro to find those who truly seek to dedicate and consecrate themselves to My kingdom purposes.

2 Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.

One may have had a late night and may have been very tired when the alarm blared.  One may have gotten up reluctantly after resetting the alarm and hearing it go off again.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today and smiled at the Lord’s choice of words.  “Your wish is My command.  One may have been encouraged.  One may desire to have a very close walk with the Lord.

One may have begun one’s praises to the Lord with song at 3:30 AM.  One may have confessed one’s sins and prayed for the sick.  One may have desired to read Revelation 14 and may have been encouraged.

One may have prayed to be led to a passage of scripture.  One may have opened one’s Bible to Ezekiel 40:44-49.  One may have wondered, “What does this chapter may have to do with one?”  One may have meditated on the word chambers.  One may have purposed in one’s heart to go back and read the entire chapter.

One may have left one’s prayer closet around 4:30 AM.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.

One may have been extremely tired during one’s prayer time and while praying for outstanding prayer requests.  One may have prayed for help, walked around, laid one’s head down on the back of the commode, dozed off briefly while praying for outstanding prayer requests and more.   Lord, please forgive one for being so worn out, in Jesus’ name, one may pray, amen.

I Am Your Very Present Help, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 23, 2009:

Pay attention, and you will see that I am with you to direct and bless you in all things, but particularly in the things that seem to be insignificant. If you look, you will see My handiwork in every phase of your existence; even in things that you have dreaded having to face. Actually, you may find yourself being pleasantly surprised in various ways. Take these opportunities to bolster your hope and faith in the fact that I am your very present help, says the Lord.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

The Lord may be truly faithful.  Another promise (prophecy) may be fulfilled on Christmas day, His Birthday!  Thank you Jesus!  It may be the Lord’s doing totally.  He is truly amazing and so awesome.  One may truly love you Jesus.

One may have awakened this morning by the sound of the alarm.  One thought to reset it but changed one’s mind.  One thought about one’s writings.

In one area, one may have not have written anything for a little over a week.  One may have felt that one needed to get up and write something; however small, in order to break whatever this was that may have been holding one captive.  One may have followed the leading.  One may have logged onto one’s computer and began to write.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin and entered one’s prayer closet at exactly 3:30 AM.  One may have begun to praise the Lord with song.  One may have confessed one’s sins and thanked the Lord.  One may have prayed to the Lord for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Psalms 51.

One’s eyes may have fallen on Psalms 53:1 – The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.  One may have turned quickly to Psalms 14:1 and read “The Fool has said in his heart, There is no God.”  One may have finished reading the entire psalm.  Verse 1 and this particular psalm may be close to one’s heart.  It may be a Psalm that one’s dear mother may have desired one to read while one’s mother may have been gravely ill.  One’s mother may have been concerned for one’s salvation.

One may have left one’s prayer closet.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Upon finishing, one may have prayed for the sick and wrote in one’s daily log.

Thank you Lord Jesus for your faithfulness.
