I Am Your Very Present Help, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 23, 2009:

Pay attention, and you will see that I am with you to direct and bless you in all things, but particularly in the things that seem to be insignificant. If you look, you will see My handiwork in every phase of your existence; even in things that you have dreaded having to face. Actually, you may find yourself being pleasantly surprised in various ways. Take these opportunities to bolster your hope and faith in the fact that I am your very present help, says the Lord.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

The Lord may be truly faithful.  Another promise (prophecy) may be fulfilled on Christmas day, His Birthday!  Thank you Jesus!  It may be the Lord’s doing totally.  He is truly amazing and so awesome.  One may truly love you Jesus.

One may have awakened this morning by the sound of the alarm.  One thought to reset it but changed one’s mind.  One thought about one’s writings.

In one area, one may have not have written anything for a little over a week.  One may have felt that one needed to get up and write something; however small, in order to break whatever this was that may have been holding one captive.  One may have followed the leading.  One may have logged onto one’s computer and began to write.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin and entered one’s prayer closet at exactly 3:30 AM.  One may have begun to praise the Lord with song.  One may have confessed one’s sins and thanked the Lord.  One may have prayed to the Lord for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Psalms 51.

One’s eyes may have fallen on Psalms 53:1 – The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.  One may have turned quickly to Psalms 14:1 and read “The Fool has said in his heart, There is no God.”  One may have finished reading the entire psalm.  Verse 1 and this particular psalm may be close to one’s heart.  It may be a Psalm that one’s dear mother may have desired one to read while one’s mother may have been gravely ill.  One’s mother may have been concerned for one’s salvation.

One may have left one’s prayer closet.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Upon finishing, one may have prayed for the sick and wrote in one’s daily log.

Thank you Lord Jesus for your faithfulness.
