A Strong And Important Test Of Your Discernment

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 29, 2010:

The enemy has released an attack against you to press you into service in ways that I have not called you, says the Lord. And, if you refuse, he will heap up condemnation against you to try to force you to be misled and distracted. Recognize this onslaught for what it is and stand firm without remorse or regret. This will be a strong and important test of your discernment. Quiet your thoughts and emotions so that you can know in every situation whether or not you have the witness of the Spirit with your spirit as to what you must do.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit…

One may have awakened after midnight and worked until one’s time to check the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  Upon reading the message, one may have thought, “Oh No!”  One may hate the attacks of the enemy, yet, one may be grateful for the help from the Lord.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet just before 3:30 AM and began to clean and share one’s concerns with the Lord.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.  One may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today.

One may not have remembered the passage of scripture for today as one may have been writing this blog.  One may have asked the Lord in one’s mind to help one remember.  One may have felt fear and queasiness at the that thought that one may have messed up.  Before the feeling could last a second more, the Holy Spirit may have brought it back to one’s remembrance immediately.  It may have been Psalms 107.  Thank you Jesus!  Thank you Holy Spirit!

At 4:30 AM, one may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will.

One’s cell phone may be working perfectly fine.  It may have done some really weird things recently.  One may have captured it in a previous blog.

Have a blessed day!

Answers And Breakthrough Will Come As You Seek Me

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 28, 2010:

Keep looking up, and refuse to allow discouragement to keep you from breakthrough. There are things over which you have no control, things that are beyond your level of responsibility and authority. These are the circumstances that you need to release to Me, says the Lord. That means you must let go completely. Otherwise, your thoughts and emotions concerning these issues only hinder the work of My Spirit. Answers and breakthrough will come as You seek Me, and I will give you peace when you trust Me.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

One may have awakened at 11 PM yesterday and stayed up until a little after 3 AM this morning.  One may have tried to get a very quick nap before one’s prayer time.  The alarm went off and it may have been time for one to get up.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have thought of situations that one may need to give to Jesus totally.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet a few minutes early and begun to clean. One may have been engrossed in thought and started one’s praise session late. Please forgive one Lord Jesus.

One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.  One may have asked the Lord to choose the scripture that He desired for today.  One may have been led to Psalms 78.  Thank you Jesus.

AT 4:30 AM, one may have left one’s prayer closet feeling very sleepy.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  One may have had to fight to stay awake.

One may have actually dozed off several times and shortly thereafter felt as if someone may have nudged one from one’s sleeping state.  There may be no other explanation for one staying awake.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have lain down for the night.  One may not have been sleepy anymore.  One may have asked the Lord a question concerning this.  One may have had a little trouble getting to sleep.

To Hide Or Protect Your Carnality Is To Resist The Cleansing

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 27, 2010:

Beloved, there has been an extreme and intense shaking in and among you, My people. This has been for the purpose of revealing aspects of your lives that need redemption. These are things that must either be transformed from flesh to Spirit or be removed altogether. This reformation is vital in this time of the preparation of My Bride, says the Lord. And, you must deliberately surrender everything that is resistant to this process if you are to proceed in My purposes. To hide or protect your carnality is to resist the cleansing.

Revelation 19:7 “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”

One may have awakened early this morning.  One may have been busy working.  Thank you Jesus.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have thought of some things that one may need to surrender and decided to give them to Jesus during one’s prayer time.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time at 3:30 AM.  One may have begun to praise the Lord.  One may have confessed past sins that one may have committed as well as current sins and asked for forgiveness.

One may have thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  As one may have been writing one’s blog, one may have totally forgotten the scripture for today.  One may not write it down, one may trust the Lord to bring it back to one.  One may have remembered that it may have been in the book of Isaiah.  One may have prayed and may have been led to Isaiah 25.  One may have begun to read this chapter.  One may have known that this passage was not the desired passage.

One may have begun to search backwards and may not have found anything familiar.  One may have begun to get frustrated.  After getting to chapter 2 which one knew was not the desired passage, one may have gone to chapter 26.  This may not have been it either.  With the clock ticking for one to get this post done before midnight, one may have cried out to Jesus.

One may have been led to Isaiah 21.  One remembered!  One may have remembered looking at chapter 22 and saying to oneself, “No, one’s eyes fell on chapter 21 first.”  As one read the beginning of this passage, one remembered reading the word “Media”; one may have thought of the Persians and Medes.  Thank you Lord for bringing it all back to one and please forgive one’s impatience and frustration, in Jesus’ name one may pray, amen.

One may have found oneself outside one’s prayer closet.  It may have dawned on one and one wondered if one left early, not knowing the time.  One may have felt that one was done after receiving the passage of scripture for today.  One may have checked the time; it may have been exactly 4:30 AM, one’s appointed time to leave.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering the prayers of each outstanding prayer request, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Be Strong And Courageous Against Every Power Of Darkness, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 26, 2010:

Watch for the enemy to try to gain access by provoking you through aggravation. Refuse to allow the devil to have any control over you whatsoever. When irritation presents itself, be slow to anger and quick to forgive. Division is an effective weapon against you, My people. Rise up and resist every temptation that would lead to sin in your heart. Be strong and courageous against every power of darkness, says the Lord.

James 1:19-20 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God

One may have awakened last night, sometime after 11 PM.  One may have been busy doing things that one needed to get done.  One may have stayed up from that time on.

Around 3:20 AM one may have checked the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have been encouraged and was glad for the help.

One may have been aggravated shortly before reading this message from the Lord.  One may have confessed one’s sin and forgave the individual as was suggested in today’s prophecy.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time and begun one’s praise and worship at 3:30 AM.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.

Lord, thank you for hearing and answering the prayers for the sick, in Jesus’ name, amen.  One may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today and was led to Isaiah 44.

One may have left one’s prayer closet at 4:30 AM.  One may have been tired.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.

Lord, thank you for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

While lying down, one’s phone may have mysteriously begun to play I Corinthians.  One may have been tired and let it play.  One may have awakened later and turned it off.  One’s sleep may have been peaceful up to that point.  One may have gone back to sleep.

Later, one may have awakened and found that I Corinthians was playing again. One may have just had a dream.  An individual in the dream was quoting scripture. One may have asked the individual if they could quote any scripture from the Bible? The individual may have said, “Yes.”  One may have thought the dream demonic even though scripture seemed to be spoken; one may not be able to recall any of the verses.

One may believe something is wrong with one’s cell phone. One may have prayed over one’s phone while rebuking and binding the enemy and one’s phone worked okay for a while.

One’s phone may be acting weird again.  It may play the Bible or if it’s on a certain screen, it chooses options until it cannot go any further.  One may have received a call and was unable to answer the call and had to call the individual back.

Lord Jesus, please have your way with one’s cell phone, in Jesus’ name, one may pray, amen.

Come And Partake Of The Tree Of Life, Which Has Been Reinstated For You, My People

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — January 25, 2010:

The Spirit of the Lord says: My people, I delight in you. And, it is My delight at this time to make you a garden of renown; a place of expression, fruitfulness, safety, and provision. These things I would have you abide in, for I come in the awesomeness of My power and the authority of My kingdom to place this habitation in your life where the river of anointing flows. It is living water and produces a harvest in your lives so that there may be an increase of your health, strength, and provision.   It is My good pleasure to cause you to be a garden of life. Come and partake of the Tree of Life, which has been reinstated for you, My people.   Now come and enjoy; come and partake, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 25, 2010:

Be still and listen! Do you hear the sound of My voice calling to you to come to Me? I wish to have a time of fellowship with you, says the Lord. Do you sense the stirring in your spirit, a shift in desire causing a very subtle but gentle awakening? Put aside the noise of circumstances and busyness, and allow your yearning heart to be fulfilled in sweet communion.

Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

One may have awakened this morning and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have been encouraged by today’s message.  It may have been a few minutes before 3:30 AM, one’s prayer closet time.

One may have begun praising the Lord with song at 3:30 AM while wrapping up a few things that may have led one outside one’s prayer closet.  At the time, one thought it okay to leave if one started one’s praise on time.  Not!  Lord Jesus, please forgive one for not getting these things done before one’s special time with you or for not waiting until one’s prayer time was over.

One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and prayed for the passage of scripture for today.  One my have been led to Job 30.  Thank you Jesus!  One may have looked briefly at Job 29.

At 4:30 AM, one may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord Jesus, thank you for hearing and answering these prayers according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

One may have reached a spiritual milestone today.  Thank you Jesus!  Lord thank you for answering the prayed of the sick one may have prayed for in one’s prayer closet as well, in Jesus’ name, amen.

It Is Vital In This Season That You Draw Near To Me

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 22, 2010:

In these days your decisions will take on greater significance, and your choices will be as seeds sown that will produce a harvest of greater magnitude than you have previously ever experienced. It is, therefore, to your advantage to choose according to My wisdom. It is vital in this season that you draw near to Me, that you walk in truth and humility, and that you exercise the utmost integrity in all that you think, say, and do, says the Lord. Ask for wisdom, and be wise!

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.

One may have left one’s cell phone in the bathroom.  One thought to get the phone before dozing off.  One may have decided against it and thought that the alarm would be loud enough to wake one for one’s special time with Jesus.

One may have been awakened by the sound of the alarm going off.  One may have lain there for a while thinking that it was around 3:20 AM. One may have gotten up eventually.  One may have been late meaning one had not heard the initial alarm.

One quickly checked the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today and may have been encouraged.  It may have been 3:52 AM when one entered one’s prayer closet.

One may have begun with songs of praise to the Lord.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed to the Lord for the passage of scripture for the day.

Today as one may be writing this blog a day late.  One could not remember the passage of scripture for yesterday.  One wondered if the Lord would answer one being that one did not get one’s blog posted on time.

One may have prayed to the Lord to help one remember the passage of scripture for yesterday and Jeremiah 18 came to one’s mind.  One wondered if it was one’s own imagination.  One may have gotten a quick flash of some of the contents of the chosen passage of scripture for the day and what it was about.  One thought, “Oh yeah!”  One may have been encouraged.  Then one may have wondered if the flashback could be from another passage of scripture one had read recently.

One checked one’s blogs to see if one had remembered the scripture from a recent post.  One may have opened one’s Bible to the chapter 18 in the Book of Jeremiah and began to read the scripture.  It may not have been familiar.  One may have known that this was not the passage of scripture the Lord had chosen.

One began to flip back chapter by chapter, reading the first verse only, in the Book of Jeremiah.  One may have known that these chapter were not the one.  One may have thought to stop flipping backwards and check chapter 19.  One may have turned to Jeremiah 19 and began to read it.  “That’s It!”  The Lord led one back to the passage of scripture He had chosen for the day.  Thank you Jesus!  Thank you for showing one mercy and grace.  One may predate this blog so that it will show up under Friday’s date.

At 4:52 AM yesterday morning one may have left one’s prayer closet.  One may have logged onto the site to pray for outstanding prayer requests.

Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will.  Thank you Lord for your leading and loving kindness, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Be Sensitive To The Leading Of My Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 21, 2010:

Be sensitive to the leading of My Spirit, for you are entering a time when you can truly put an end to procrastination and tie up loose ends. I am surrounding My people with an extraordinary measure of favor and grace to do all that is necessary. As soon as you choose to be done with the things that have overwhelmed you, the burden of heaviness will lift and you will be free to move forward. I will enhance and accelerate your every effort, says the Lord, but you must take the first step.

Hebrews 12:12-13 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

One may have awakened early this morning and did some writing.  One may have fallen back asleep.  When it may have been one’s appointed time to get up, one may have felt really tired.  One may have considered sleeping another hour at least.  One knew in one’s heart that the thought was not possible and that one must keep one’s appointed time with Jesus at 3:30 AM.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.   It may have been the answer to one’s prayer from earlier in the morning.  One may have asked the Lord for help.  One may have actually written the prayer down in one’s writings.  Again, Jesus provided help and encouragement for one through the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  Thank you Jesus.  Now one may know what one must do.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time.  One may have sung praises to the Lord, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Ezekiel 3.

Thank you Lord for helping one to remember the passage for today. As one may have been writing just now one had absolutely nothing; one may have totally forgotten today’s passage of scripture and had no clue whatsoever.  One may have prayed to the Lord asking for help; Ezekiel 4 may have come to one’s mind.

One may have checked the post from yesterday to make sure that one was not thinking of yesterday’s scripture.  The passage of scripture from yesterday may have been Amos 1.

One may have grabbed one’s Bible and began to read Ezekiel 4.  One thought, “This is not it.”  Although one may have read this chapter in the past, it may not have felt familiar or recent.

One may have flipped the page back one, revealing Ezekiel 3.  One may have begun to read this chapter.  “That’s it!” one thought and thanked the Lord for His help.

One may have left one’s prayer closet at 4:30 AM.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.

Lord Jesus, thank you for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.
