Be Sensitive To The Leading Of My Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 21, 2010:

Be sensitive to the leading of My Spirit, for you are entering a time when you can truly put an end to procrastination and tie up loose ends. I am surrounding My people with an extraordinary measure of favor and grace to do all that is necessary. As soon as you choose to be done with the things that have overwhelmed you, the burden of heaviness will lift and you will be free to move forward. I will enhance and accelerate your every effort, says the Lord, but you must take the first step.

Hebrews 12:12-13 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

One may have awakened early this morning and did some writing.  One may have fallen back asleep.  When it may have been one’s appointed time to get up, one may have felt really tired.  One may have considered sleeping another hour at least.  One knew in one’s heart that the thought was not possible and that one must keep one’s appointed time with Jesus at 3:30 AM.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.   It may have been the answer to one’s prayer from earlier in the morning.  One may have asked the Lord for help.  One may have actually written the prayer down in one’s writings.  Again, Jesus provided help and encouragement for one through the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  Thank you Jesus.  Now one may know what one must do.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time.  One may have sung praises to the Lord, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Ezekiel 3.

Thank you Lord for helping one to remember the passage for today. As one may have been writing just now one had absolutely nothing; one may have totally forgotten today’s passage of scripture and had no clue whatsoever.  One may have prayed to the Lord asking for help; Ezekiel 4 may have come to one’s mind.

One may have checked the post from yesterday to make sure that one was not thinking of yesterday’s scripture.  The passage of scripture from yesterday may have been Amos 1.

One may have grabbed one’s Bible and began to read Ezekiel 4.  One thought, “This is not it.”  Although one may have read this chapter in the past, it may not have felt familiar or recent.

One may have flipped the page back one, revealing Ezekiel 3.  One may have begun to read this chapter.  “That’s it!” one thought and thanked the Lord for His help.

One may have left one’s prayer closet at 4:30 AM.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.

Lord Jesus, thank you for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.
