Maintain Eternal Perspective

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — February 4, 2010:

Beloved, set a watch for opposition and division. Regardless of where it pops up or the reasons behind it or the justifications for it, it is still the work of the enemy. You can’t fix anything or work through anything in the flesh or by human reason. This must be done in the realm of the spirit by the Holy Spirit and maintaining godly focus. Remind yourself of My purposes, My work, and My promises, says the Lord. Maintain eternal perspective, which is to look beyond what is immediate and temporary to that which is eternal.

Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

One may have checked the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin and may have received the message and it’s warning from the Lord.  One may have purposed in one’s heart to try to remember the Lord’s warning throughout the day.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time and began to praise the Lord at 3:30 AM.  One may have prayed to the Lord for His help.  Things may be most difficult in one’s life and one may not have seen the outcome coming on the horizon.

Later today some things may have happened that may have increased one’s faith and hope concerning events that may take place in the near future.  One must demonstrate tremendous faith at this point and trust that Jesus is busy doing and preparing one’s way.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  The Lord may have led one to Ezekiel 42.  One may have pondered in one’s heart, the Lord’s choice of scripture.  Thank you Jesus for the scripture for today.

One may have left one’s prayer closet a little after 4:30 AM.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord Jesus, thank you for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.
