Keep Looking Up, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — February 16, 2010:

Take courage and lean on My strength to keep moving through the difficulties that you face. You need to be patient and trust Me to lead, guide, direct and protect you at this time. Do not despair when you do not seem to have what it takes to deal with current issues. Ask, and I will give you wisdom. This too shall pass, and new focus and clarity will come forth like the first rays of sunshine of a new day. Keep looking up, says the Lord.

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

One may have awakened a few hours before one’s special time with Jesus.  One may have worked on an assignment.  One’s grandchild may have awakened a little before one had to enter one’s prayer closet.

One may have taken care of the child and the child may have settled down.  One may have checked the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin before entering one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have been encouraged, thank you Jesus.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time.  One may have begun to praise the Lord with song.  One may have begun to confess one’s sins.  Out of nowhere one may have felt the need to check on the child.  One thought to do it later, after one’s prayer closet time.

One may have found oneself leaving one’s prayer closet and entering the room where the child may have been.  The child may have been asleep.  One may have walked over to the child and discovered that their bottle may have been lying upside down next to the side of their neck.

One may have removed the bottle; it may have been empty.  One may have touch the child’s clothing and discovered that their sleeper, receiving blanket and boppy may have been wet.  Even the child’s hair may have been wet on the back of their head.

One may not be sure if this is even possible.  The entire back of the sleeper may have been wet from shoulder to shoulder.  There may have been a small wet spot on the sheet of the bed.  One may have thought the whole incident weird and suspect.

One may have removed the items, washed the child off and put clean dry clothes on the child.  One may have replaced all the items for the child, including the boppy with a brand new one.

The child may have continued to sleep soundly.  One may have put the wet items and the soiled boppy in the washing machine.

One may have re-entered one’ s prayer closet at 4:03 AM and thanked the Lord for leading one to check on the child.

One may have finished confessing one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and prayed for the scripture for today.  One may have been led to Isaiah 28.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests a little after 4:30 AM.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.
