Refuse To Allow The Attacks Of The Enemy To Bring Discouragement

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 24, 2010:

As things unfold before you, take nothing for granted. Recognize divine providence. These are days when you can see purpose in what has taken place in your circumstances as a reference point to where you are going. Refuse to allow the attacks of the enemy to bring discouragement. Let Me establish you in greater discernment and vision as I open your eyes and heart to view your choices and possibilities, says the Lord.

2 Peter 1:2-4 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

One may have awakened to the sound of the alarm.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have pondered over the scripture given today for a while.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet before the appointed time.  One may have decided to leave briefly.  When one may have returned, it may have been 3:32 AM. One may have been late for one’s special time with Jesus.  One may have been amazed at how quickly the time may passed by; one may have thought to have gone for just a moment.  One may have been discouraged and upset.

One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins (including being late for one’s prayer time and for one’s anger), thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Daniel 4.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
