Let Me Be Your All In All

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/12/2010:

Stop and consider that I am causing you to get back to basics. It is important for you to be established in the simplicity of faith, which is the basis of relationship with Me, says the Lord. And, it is time to strip away the things that have complicated and stretched your beliefs, your relationships, your finances, and your daily existence. Be content with the essentials, and let Me be your all in all.

Philippians 4:12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

One may have awakened to the sound of one’s 3:20 AM alarm on the morning of 11/12/10.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for this day.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

At 3:30 AM, one may have praised the Lord with song in one’s prayer closet.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for this day.  One may have been led to 2 Samuel 19.

One may have just prayed to the Lord this morning as one may be writing this message.  It may be 1:03 AM, on 11/13/10.  One may have been tired last night and may have fallen asleep.  One may have set one’s alarm to awaken one at 10:00 PM, yet one may have ignored the alarm and any subsequent alarms and may have continued to sleep.

One may have forgotten the scripture that the Lord may have given one for the blog and one may have had absolutely nothing.  One may have just prayed and asked the Lord for help.  One may have waited patiently.  2 Samuel came to one and one may have remembered some of the individuals who may have been in the selected text.  One may not have remembered the exact chapter.

One may have wondered if this chapter that one may have remembered had been from earlier this week.  One may have checked one’s blog.  There may not have been any scripture recently from 2 Samuel.

One may have grabbed one’s Bible and may have randomly opened it to 2 Samuel.  One’s eyes may have fell on the text concerning Mephibosheth.  This may have been the exact chapter that Lord may have chosen for this blog.

The Lord may have brought one back to the chapter and to the place in the scripture that may have pricked one’s heart at the beauty of the love and loyalty of Mephibosheth, Saul’s son to King David.  One may not have expected one’s heart to be touched, it may have just happened.  One may have been deeply moved by Mephibosheth’s humility and submission to the king that one may have been brought to tears that may have overflowed from one’s eyes and heart.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank You Lord for hearing and answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
