Refuse To Allow Frustration And Impatience To Rule

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/19/2010:

Refuse to allow frustration and impatience to rule, as there is no faith or trust in emotional reactions. Rise above the circumstances that have made you angry, and establish peace in your heart. Then, you can find wisdom and direction in solving your dilemma. I will pour out wisdom liberally, if you will set your heart and mind on trusting Me to show you the way, says the Lord.

Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

One may have awakened early.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.

You Have Not Gone Unnoticed, I Am Your Provider and Protector, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/18/2010:

You are not hidden from My sight, nor are you out of My reach. You are not beyond My care or too far to be rescued. Reach out in My direction with faith and trust in your heart. Let Me bring you to a place of safety and security. You have not gone unnoticed; I am your provider and protector, says the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:7-10 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed-always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

One may have awakened to the sound of one’s alarm.  It may have been exactly 3:30 AM.  One may have dashed to one’s prayer closet.  One may not have wanted to be late for one’s special time with Jesus.

Resist The Temptation To Be Afraid, And Trust Me, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/17/2010:

Stay aware and be on the alert for sudden or unexpected changes in plans or direction, either long-term or short-term. Believe Me when I say that I am with you to guide you through the maze of indecision and bring you through to concrete solutions to difficult problems. Resist the temptation to be afraid, and trust Me, says the Lord.

Proverbs 16:9 A man’s heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps.

Be Strong And Do Not Lose Heart

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/16/2010:

Be strong and do not lose heart. Refuse to give up. The enemy would have you to believe in hopelessness, but he will not succeed as long as you maintain your position of hope. Give him no ground. Take the time and make the effort to exercise your faith and to believe Me and know that I have heard your prayers, says the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

One may have awakened early this morning and may have felt discouraged.  One may have heard a voice that may have said that one should stop going into one’s prayer closet and that one should stop posting on one’s blog and on Facebook and Twitter.  One may have dismissed the thoughts.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  The message from the Lord today may have spoken to one’s heart.  Thank You Jesus!

I Have Known You From The Beginning And I Have Placed You In The Kingdom

It’s All About Jesus!

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — 11/15/2010:

And I say unto you, that you were born for such a time as this. I have known you from the beginning and I have placed you in the kingdom, in this specific time frame, according to My will and purpose. You are much more mature and spiritual than you think you are, for I am the God that knows the hearts of man. I have chosen you for this time, says the Lord, so that you may bring the manifestation of My kingdom forth in power and in purpose. Choose this day to believe. My word is giving you the opportunity to come up higher and to see the manifestation of the fullness of My kingdom in the earth. In this time, great and magnificent things will come forth. For, the kingdom light is shining, the kingdom wind is blowing, and the kingdom streams are flowing. Come forth, My child, into the fullness of your destiny, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/15/2010:

I was watching the candles after they had been snuffed out, and considered how the smoke always ascends seeming to defy gravity, although I know it’s because smoke is lighter than air. The Lord began to speak to me that our prayers are like that. They don’t just fall to the ground, but they ascend before His throne as a sweet fragrance.

Revelation 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

Let Me Be Your All In All

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/12/2010:

Stop and consider that I am causing you to get back to basics. It is important for you to be established in the simplicity of faith, which is the basis of relationship with Me, says the Lord. And, it is time to strip away the things that have complicated and stretched your beliefs, your relationships, your finances, and your daily existence. Be content with the essentials, and let Me be your all in all.

Philippians 4:12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

One may have awakened to the sound of one’s 3:20 AM alarm on the morning of 11/12/10.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for this day.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

At 3:30 AM, one may have praised the Lord with song in one’s prayer closet.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for this day.  One may have been led to 2 Samuel 19.

One may have just prayed to the Lord this morning as one may be writing this message.  It may be 1:03 AM, on 11/13/10.  One may have been tired last night and may have fallen asleep.  One may have set one’s alarm to awaken one at 10:00 PM, yet one may have ignored the alarm and any subsequent alarms and may have continued to sleep.

One may have forgotten the scripture that the Lord may have given one for the blog and one may have had absolutely nothing.  One may have just prayed and asked the Lord for help.  One may have waited patiently.  2 Samuel came to one and one may have remembered some of the individuals who may have been in the selected text.  One may not have remembered the exact chapter.

One may have wondered if this chapter that one may have remembered had been from earlier this week.  One may have checked one’s blog.  There may not have been any scripture recently from 2 Samuel.

One may have grabbed one’s Bible and may have randomly opened it to 2 Samuel.  One’s eyes may have fell on the text concerning Mephibosheth.  This may have been the exact chapter that Lord may have chosen for this blog.

The Lord may have brought one back to the chapter and to the place in the scripture that may have pricked one’s heart at the beauty of the love and loyalty of Mephibosheth, Saul’s son to King David.  One may not have expected one’s heart to be touched, it may have just happened.  One may have been deeply moved by Mephibosheth’s humility and submission to the king that one may have been brought to tears that may have overflowed from one’s eyes and heart.  Thank You Jesus!

Do Battle In The Power Of My Spirit To Defeat The Devil Where You Find Him

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/11/2010:

Calm yourself and listen to My still, small voice. If you will hush the noise of fear and confusion, you will hear and be directed by wisdom. Stand strong in faith and refuse to allow the enemy to get the upper hand in any situation. Do battle in the power of My Spirit to defeat the devil where you find him, says the Lord. I will cause you to come forth in great victory!

James 3:13-18 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

One’s daughter may have awakened one this morning.  One may have been late for one’s special time with Jesus.  One may have heard one’s alarm from time to time but may have fallen back asleep.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have been late for one’s prayer time for the last three days.  Please forgive one Lord Jesus.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Jeremiah 41.  Thank You Jesus!
