I Say To You, Examine The Nonsense In Your Thinking

It’s All About Jesus!

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — 1/10/2010:

I say to you, examine the nonsense in your thinking.  For I say, indeed, many of you are occupied with nonsense.   But, I would have you choose to believe and receive that which I am bringing and imparting rather than leaning on your own understanding.  Reflect on and examine your thoughts, attitudes and  motives.  Then, turn your eyes upon the heavenlies and the glory that I am releasing and the revelation of My purposes.  My purposes for you are not to muddle around in the things of the world, but for you to ascend on high and live in the realm of heavenly experience.  For the kingdom itself is now demanding that you live within self-restraint.  You must now begin to live the Christian life in a new and profound way, in a glorious way; thinking upon heavenly things, and upon those things which I have spoken to you rather than being absorbed in the trauma of your own life or in judgmentalism, jealousy or the tribulation that your negative thinking brings you into.  So rise and come higher, says the Lord, and let the wind of My Spirit move you, and let the anointing of My word perfect you, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 1/10/2010:

Beloved, I want you to be a gatekeeper and a watchman over your environment. This is a position of spiritual discernment so that you allow only the things that build up and not the things that tear down. I would have you to be on high alert and aware so that you have holy precision in knowing what comes in and what goes out. I have given you absolute authority to accept or reject those things that affect your spiritual atmosphere, says the Lord.

Isaiah 21:6 For thus has the Lord said to me: “Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees.”

One may have awakened a little after 2:30 AM.  One may have looked outside to see if there may have been snow.  There may not have been any snow whatsoever.

One may have busied oneself on the Internet.  One may have checked for the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin sometime after 3 AM.  It may not have been there.  One may have checked just before going into one’s prayer closet.  The Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin may have been in one’s e-mail inbox.

One may have read the message for today and may have found oneself nodding and saying “Okay” to Jesus.  One may have known that one may be guilty of these very things.  One may have been encouraged.  One may desire to walk upright before the Lord.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Proverbs 5.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have left one’s prayer closet and may have looked outside.  There may have been snow.  Lord, please help those who may be traveling today in the snow to reach their destinations safely in Jesus’ name, one may pray, Amen.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Go Forth With Confidence In Me

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — Sept. 28, 2010:

The Lord says you are in a time of advancement. No longer are you to stay spiritually where you are. Rise up and take the sword that has been spoken about and go forth in pure worship that comes from a pure heart. Go forth with confidence in Me. For when you trust Me I will be with you. When you trust Me I will give you victory. When you trust Me you shall never have need or want in this earth. When you trust Me sickness will flee. When you trust Me poverty will be diminished and taken away. As you trust Me, says the Lord, then truly I shall walk with you and you shall walk with Me in the glory of this kingdom, even now, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 28, 2010:

In this time of new beginnings, there will be changes that either affect you directly or indirectly. Be prepared to be flexible and to go with the moving of My Spirit. The test will be for you to face and overcome fears of the unknown. Trust Me in times of instability for it will be momentary in the grand scheme of things. I am your Rock and the solid foundation under your feet. Stand in unwavering faith, says the Lord.

Psalms 62:7 In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

One may have awakened a little after midnight.  One may have attempted to take a quick nap before one’s prayer time.  One may have awakened to the sound of one’s alarm.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Isaiah 1.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have been so tired that one may have asked the Lord if one could sleep for a little while before praying for the outstanding prayer requests.

After a brief nap, one may have logged onto the website to pray for the outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
