Come Boldly Before My Throne Of Grace And Receive The Help That You Need In This Hour

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS:

Come boldly before My throne of grace and receive the help that you need in this hour. I give the power that you need to overcome and be renewed. It is the power to bring the provision into your life that you require. All of these things I do for you, says the Lord, because I am the One who loves you and cares for and watches over you absolutely and completely. Be renewed in your faith today. Receive My love. I will present Myself to you in a fresh new way. Remember My words–I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will be with you always even to the end of the age.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Reflect and be reminded of good things. This is a season of blessing and favor, and when your heart is grateful and you express that gratitude in prayer, it opens the door for even greater blessings. Conversely, your grumbling and complaining will create spiritual barrenness, says the Lord. Take time to be thankful.

Romans 1:21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

One may have begun to praise the Lord at 3:30 AM.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.

One may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Song of Solomon 1.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord Jesus, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will.  Amen.

Lean On Me

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — June 4, 2010:

Come to the most holy place and commune with Me there. Come to the mercy seat where there is help and wisdom to guide you through rough places. Too many of you, My people, try to work things out alone without realizing that I am your very present help in times of trouble. I am with you always; you can trust Me to bring you through every trial, says the Lord. Lean on Me.

Psalms 46:1-5 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.

One may have awakened and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed a brief prayer for the sick and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Proverbs 13.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Called To Be Contenders For The Faith

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — April 20, 2010:

You are called to be contenders for the faith. I would have you always bring truth and light where there is error and darkness. I will give you the grace to do this so that the integrity of the Kingdom can be maintained. Do not compromise in allowing duplicity to rule. Bring forth clarity and simplicity in the purity of My Spirit, says the Lord.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

One may have awakened at 3:30 AM.  One may have known that one would be late for one’s prayer time with Jesus.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have praised the Lord with song.  One may have brought some items into one’s prayer closet that may be the Lord’s work but may not be directly related to one’s prayer time.

The cat may have knocked the items into the tub, causing them to get wet.  One may have thrown an item into the trash and dried the other items off.  One may have taken this as a sign to get back on track with the Lord.  Thank You Jesus.

One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Proverbs 11.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank You Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, amen.

One may have gotten good news today.  One may have been so blessed.  Thank You Jesus!

Overcome This Temptation By Staying Close To The Truth Of My Word

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — March 25, 2010:

Be alert and watch for distractions that will divert your focus from being led and moved by My Spirit to worldly concerns. This is always a tactic of the enemy to keep you from purity and power, but it is beginning to take on a dimension that creates fear through fascination as a seduction away from kingdom purpose. You can quite easily overcome this temptation by staying close to the truth of My Word, says the Lord.

Galatians 6:14 But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

One may have awakened this morning.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin and may have been encouraged.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet and began to praise the Lord with song.  One may have confessed one’s sins and thanked the Lord.  One may have prayed for a passage of scripture and may have forgotten the scripture again.  One may have thought that one would remember it.  One may also believe that the Lord can bring it back to one if that is His will.  One may not understand, yet one may trust the Lord, amen.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord Jesus, thank you for hearing and answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, amen.

What You Build On The Foundation Must Be Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — March 17, 2010:

Yield to the working of My Spirit as you deal with things that require your attention and action. Only then, can I lead you in righteousness. If you take matters into your own hands without My direction, you will not like the outcome. Remember that what you build on the foundation must be spirit and not flesh; otherwise it will not endure. Always build and establish the Kingdom in all that you are and all that you do, says the Lord.

1 Corinthians 3:11-13 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.

One may have awakened a little after midnight.  One may have fallen back asleep around 2:00 AM.  At 3:20 AM, the alarm may have sounded and one may have been so tired that one may have pushed the snooze option.  The alarm may have gone off again and one may have turned it off and headed for one’s PC.

One may have logged on and checked one’s e-mail for the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have read the prophecy for today.  Again, one may have been blessed by the message.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet and began to praise the Lord at 3:30 AM.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Isaiah 14.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have prayed for the outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for hearing and answering each request according to your perfect will, amen.

One may have seen this prophecy in action today.  One may have thought to do something yesterday.  One may have had one’s reasons (mainly anger and selfishness) for trying a different avenue to a solution.  One may have found that the new avenue may not have been what the Lord had in store.  It may not have been the answer.  The answer may have been, “No!”

One may have had to resort back to the original plan.  One may have felt led through out the day.  One may have thought to do a particular thing today.  It may not have been required of one until tomorrow.  One may have discovered that tomorrow would have been too late due to a change in the normal flow of things.  Thank you Jesus for leading and guiding one.
