Spontaneity Will Give You The Freedom To Move With The Wind Of My Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — June 25, 2010:

Be flexible, for I have places to take you and things to show you that you will miss if you are rigid and unyielding. Keep an open mind and an open heart, and I will give you nuggets of wisdom and spiritual truth in the most unexpected ways in unforeseen places. I want to extricate you from the grip of religious spirits that require you to be stern, precise, and in control. Spontaneity will give you the freedom to move with the wind of My Spirit, says the Lord.

John 3:8 “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

One may have awakened this morning and may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Micah 5.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Be Strong, Stay Humble

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — March 2, 2010:

Yield to the leading of My Spirit as I reveal more productive ways of dealing with problems and stress. I will open your eyes and your heart to see and receive wisdom before you react or respond. Be quiet and stay flexible, and you will come through difficult situations with greater ease. Be strong, but stay humble, says the Lord. Your success depends on it.

Proverbs 15:33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.

One may have awakened in the early morning hours and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have thought it perfect and may have been so encouraged.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have sung praises to the Lord, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Isaiah 13.  Thank you Jesus!

While in one’s prayer closet one may have thought one heard one’s name being called.  One may have opened the door and discovered that one’s grandson may have been calling one.

The child may have had a nightmare.  One may have stayed with the child until they calmed down.  One may have re-entered one’s prayer closet to finish one’s prayer session.
