Trust Me To Lift You Up When You’re Down

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Trust Me to lift you up when you’re down.  Believe that I am vitally interested in your life, and I see those things which concern you.  I am with you to help you get up and proceed on the path of life–eternal life and eternal joy.  It is My will to establish you in peace and strength.  Receive My help and rise up to a new level of confidence and faith that I will not leave you or forsake you.  You are precious to Me, says the Lord.  Be established in that truth.

Deuteronomy 31:8 “And the LORD, He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

Seek To Glorify Me

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 1/20/11:

Hush. Be still and stop fretting. Worry will get you nowhere. If you will be quiet and rise up in the Spirit, I will give you peace and bring healing and restoration to your troubled soul. When you are in turmoil it is because you have lost focus, paying more attention to situations that concern you rather than trusting Me, says the Lord. For those who have asked to see My glory, you will not see My glory until you continually give Me honor in all things. My glory will be revealed to those who seek to glorify Me.

Psalms 131:2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.

One may have awakened this morning.  The Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin may not have been in one’s e-mail inbox.  One may believe that the time that one may receive the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin may have changed.  One may have thought to change one’s prayer time.  One may have decided against it.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Isaiah 9.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests after leaving one’s prayer closet.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

I Am With You To Bring You Through Every Trial In Victory

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Oct. 13, 2010:

Do not concern yourself with how others perceive you. Only concern yourself with your relationship to Me, says the Lord, and remember My love for you that is everlasting. It does not matter what others might think, believe or say; what matters is that you put your absolute faith and trust in Me and not in men. I will never leave you nor forsake you, and I am with you to bring you through every trial in victory. Stand solidly on that assurance.

Isaiah 33:6 Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the LORD is His treasure.

One may have had a challenging night.  One may not have been feeling too well and may have prayed one’s way through the symptoms.  Before one may have fallen asleep, one may have had chills and a stuffed up nose.  One may have prayed against these ailments and this may have been the beginning of a long night.

One may remember awakening and feeling chest congestion.  One may have prayed to the Lord, asking Him to remove the blanket of congestion over one’s lungs.  He may have.  One may have awakened numerous times more and prayed for whatever may have been ailing one until most of the symptoms had subsided.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song.  One may have prayed a brief prayer and may have gone back to bed.  One may not have been feeling up to par.

One may not have taken medication last night.  One may have trusted Jesus first and foremost.  One may be feeling much better now; no, fever, stuffy nose, just occasional coughing or the blowing of one’s nostrils.  One may have even felt like running an errand this evening.

There may not be a passage of scripture for today.  One may not have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  One may double one’s time on the website tomorrow morning during one’s prayer time.

Thank You Jesus for healing one so quickly and helping one get through this ordeal, in Jesus’ name, one may pray, Amen.

Keep Your Focus On The Truth Of My Word

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Oct. 7, 2010:

Beloved, do not concern yourself with what you cannot see. I will show you things that you need to look at and understand as you go. It is important that you keep your focus on the truth of My Word. If you will stay in truth you will walk in freedom. When you find yourself in chaos and confusion it is because your mind is divided. Now is a time when it is of paramount importance that you guard your faith and focus, says the Lord.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

One may have finally awakened to the sound of one’s alarm after hearing it (but not comprehending) for several intervals.  It may have been exactly 3:30 AM.  One may have dashed to one’s prayer closet.  One may have made it on time.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have praised the Lord with song.  One may have left one’s prayer closet to take care of something that one may have decided, could not wait.  Next, one may have thought to take an awesome supernatural book with one into one’s prayer closet to thank Jesus personally for the book.

One may have looked for the book to no avail.  One may have prayed for the Lord’s help.  One may have thought that one may have left the book at an establishment.  One may have seen the book protruding from underneath an object.  One may have grabbed the book and may have taken it inside one’s prayer closet.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have decided that one needed to restart one’s prayer time.  Most of one’s time may have been wasted outside of one’s prayer closet.  One may have recommitted to staying the required duration and may have started one’s special time with Jesus all over again.

One may have Praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Amos 1.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for the outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 12, 2010:

Disappointment and discouragement have opened the door to confusion in various areas of concern, and the enemy will use this to undermine your faith. But, you must stand strong and refuse to allow your trust in Me to be shaken. Re-establish yourself spiritually on the firm foundation of My Word, says the Lord, and your faith will become a shield against the lies of the enemy.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
