Relationship With Me Is Not A Distant Reality, But It Is Here And Now

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns–01/13/12:

Be yourself! Be who you are without considering things external. Be free in your heart where you are essentially connected to Me; not religiously, but in reality. To do this, you must stay in the present moment of spiritual truth and vitality. This is a place of abiding in faith and peace. Then, when that connection is interrupted, you can examine the cause and reposition yourself to maintain that spiritual flow, says the Lord. Refuse to allow fear, unbelief, worry or condemnation to break your connection. Relationship with Me is not a distant reality, but it is here and now.

John 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Come And Commune With Me In The Secret Place

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 2/4/11:

If you will diligently and urgently seek My face with all your heart instead of only looking for me to manifest outwardly, I will release you into a place of freedom and rest. This inward connection is where faith is born; it is the place where prayer is answered. Come and commune with Me in the secret place, which is even hidden from all trouble and stress. Come into My rest, says the Lord, and let Me establish you in peace and joy.

Matthew 6:6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

One may have heard the alarm resound several times.  One may have finally checked the time; it may have been exactly 3:30 AM.  One may have hurried to one’s prayer closet.  One may not have grabbed one’s Bible and may have thought to grab it after beginning one’s prayer time.  One may not have wanted to be late or to miss one’s blessings for the day.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have made it.  Hallelujah!  Thank You Jesus!  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Acts 7.  One may have smiled knowing that the Lord had chosen this scripture and how perfect and awesome He may be.  Yesterday’s scripture for the day may have been Acts 8.  At that time, one may have thought how one may like Acts 7 as well.  Thank You Jesus!

Refuse To Allow The Devil To Gain Any Advantage Over You

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 10, 2010:

Beloved, bolster your faith by making a clear and concise connection to the truth of My Word. Refuse to allow the devil to gain any advantage over you. You have nothing in him and he has nothing in you because you belong to Me. You are My beloved, and I am yours. I will cause you to triumph over the work of the enemy. Put your complete trust in Me, says the Lord.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
