Set A Watch For The Enemy’s Seduction Designed To Get You Into A Vague Or Undefined Sense Of Depression Or Melancholy

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Beloved, set a watch for the enemy’s seduction designed to get you into a vague or undefined sense of depression or melancholy. The purpose for this attack is to paralyze you spiritually and keep you from the discernment you need to do productive warfare and to gain the victory. The next spiritual shift is now taking place, and you will need to keep your emotions under control in order to be effective and to avoid frustration, says the Lord.

Isaiah 61:3 To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.

Re-Establish Yourself In The Peace And Joy Atmosphere Of My Kingdom

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns–01/09/12:

The enemy has launched an attack to blanket your spiritual environment with heaviness. The first sign of this intrusion will be a sense of oppression or even depression without a reason. Be on guard against gloomy feelings and be ready to rise up and fight your way through to victory over this onslaught. Re-establish yourself in the peace and joy atmosphere of My kingdom, says the Lord.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me, says the LORD.

Come And Fly With Me, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — 6/27/11:

On your behalf I speak to adversity, for I the Lord come to bring the power of My voice over the power that has come against you. For, I have been given all authority, and by that authority I speak over your life that you may be totally free from all adversity, oppression, depression, fear, anxiety and worry. When I am with you, you cannot be defeated. I speak into your life–peace be still. And, there will come a great calm and a great benefit. No longer allow yourself to sit down in the very pit and doldrums of failure, but arise to new heights. As the sun rises each day, arise and shine for you are the people of light; the children of light and the glory of My kingdom upon the earth. It is time for you to come to a new understanding of who you are in Me and who I am in you. It is time for you to feel the power of My wind upon you; the power of the wind that flows through your mind and regenerates your spirit. Come this day and receive a fresh baptism and allow the wind of My Spirit to move you and to lift you. Come and fly with Me, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 6/27/11:

Your mind is the devil’s playground, but it is your battleground. In order for you to stay free from the enemy’s oppression, you must wage war on the attacks that come against your thoughts. You do this by using truth to combat the lies and fighting fear with faith. You have been given the weapons of war that are effective in gaining victory, but you must do the work, says the Lord.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

I Am Greater Than The Evil One

It’s All About Jesus!

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — 3/7/11:

Arise today you children of light. Come forth in the faith of this season. For I have declared a spiritual season of jubilee; a season in which you shall be set free from all bondage; a season in which you shall be restored and that which you have possessed shall be returned to you. So come with faith, hope and expectation. Come to receive for I have come to give. And if I, your Lord, come with gifts to give will you not receive them? Will you not believe them? And will you not allow Me to place them in your hand, says the Most Holy. Many of you have been through dark valleys; you have fought oppression and depression. The circumstances of your life have not been fun. The enemy has attacked. Sickness has even come. But I say to you arise to victory. Many of you know the valley of Baca, that place of weeping. You know the dark night of the soul. You know the places that Satan has held you in bondage, and in those places of bondage the thought of freedom has escaped you. But, I am greater than the evil one for I have come to destroy the bondage’s he has placed upon you and I will break the prison doors open and lead you out in to the light and glory of My kingdom. For this purpose I have come–to destroy the works of the devil that have been set against you and to lead you forth in to the glory My kingdom, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/7/11:

Be prepared to progress in the areas of your anointing and creativity. Watch for opportunities for a greater and more complete expression of your gifting both spiritually and naturally. And, I will establish you in confidence and boldness to do all that I have set before you. Exercise your faith, says the Lord.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Refuse To Look At What You Don’t Have Instead Of Being Grateful For What You Do Have

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/25/2010:

Beloved, this is a time when you must refrain from comparing yourself to others. The enemy’s desire is to tempt you to open a door for his access by focusing on your lack. Refuse to look at what you don’t have instead of being grateful for what you do have. This is a snare and a trap that will take you down to the pit of discouragement and depression. Keep looking up, says the Lord.

2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

One may have awakened early.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have thought about the word “pit” and may have been disturbed by the Lord’s choice of words.  “Pit” may refer to hell.  One may have thought that one may need to make a quick attitude change in one’s behavior lately.  One may take heed and  have been encouraged.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Isaiah 48.  Thank You Jesus!

I Am Releasing You From The Spirit Of Heaviness So That You No Longer Have To Struggle With Depression

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — June 8, 2010:

Beloved, if you can receive it, I am releasing you from the spirit of heaviness so that you no longer have to struggle with depression. Let the darkness go and allow My light to restore, refresh and renew every part of your being. I am not saying that you will not face difficulties and disappointments, but you do not have to allow the devil to take you down to the pit with discouragement. Rise up and receive this freedom from emotional bondage, says the Lord.

John 8:36 “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

One may have awakened and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have pulled out a book and quickly skimmed over the chapter that may have been about the Spirit of Heaviness.

One may have praised the Lord with songs of praise, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Daniel 10.

One may have just prayed to the Lord to help one to remember today’s passage of scripture.  One may not have had anything.  The Lord may have brought it back to one suddenly.  Thank You Jesus!

Resist The Devil, For There Is No Temptation Too Great For You To Overcome

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 22, 2009:

Beloved, I have already brought warnings to you to guard your heart with all diligence. Be aware that the enemy is roaring around, looking for those who will get in his most dangerous territory through allowing their emotions to run wild. Guard your thoughts and emotions, and refuse to allow the devil to bring discouragement, disappointment and depression. Rise up and embrace My joy, says the Lord, and be strengthened in your inner man. Draw near to me, and place your hope in My love for you. Resist the devil, for there is no temptation too great for you to overcome.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

One may have awakened early this morning, a little after midnight.  One may have decided to write in one’s daily log.  After finishing one’s writings, one may have prayed and opened one’s Bible to Psalms 146.  One may have continued reading.  One may have read:

One may have noticed that all five psalms began with “Praise ye the LORD.”  One may have been encouraged.

One may have fallen back asleep.  The alarm may have gone off. One reset it for 3:20 AM.  When the alarm blared at 3:20 AM, one may have just laid there for a few minutes.  One may have gotten up and preceded to one’s computer.  Once logged in, one may have noticed that a pop-up window was open indicating that one should choose a network option.  Safari may have been open with a message indicating that it could not connect to the Internet.  One may have closed the pop-up window and Safari.

One proceeded to open Safari the second time.  One may have gotten the same message indicating that it was unable to connect.  The system again prompted one to choose a network for this computer.  One may have tried Firefox as well.  One simply did not have an internet connection.

One may have gone over to check one’s modem and router, both were unplugged.  One may have plugged them in.  One may have thought that one could not enter one’s prayer closet if this situation did not get resolved.  One may have been willing to miss one’s special time with Jesus.

One may have tried to open Safari again.  It may have been unable to connect to the Internet.  One tried to set the network, but the options that were available were not working.  One may have thought, “I have to get this resolved, I have to read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.”

One may have thought to reboot the system and hopefully the desired settings would re-establish themselves.  One may have shut down the PC.  One restarted one’s computer.  Once logged in, one may have clicked on Safari and it may have connected as usual.  Thank you Jesus!

One opened one’s e-mail and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have done a few other things as well.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet late.  One may have begun to praise the Lord at 3:35 AM with joyful singing.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, and prayed for the sick.  One may have prayed for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Psalms 139.  Thank you Jesus!

After leaving one’s prayer closet, one may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Afterwards, one may have thought about how one was willing to miss one’s prayer time for the sake of one’s computer.  One may have wanted the issue resolved right away and felt that one could not do anything until one figured out the problem.

Lord, thanks for the help with the computer.  Lord, please forgive one for getting one’s priorities mixed up by putting one’s computer and routine before you, in Jesus’ name, one may pray, amen.
