Set Yourself in a Position of Total Surrender to My Spirit, Say the Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Set yourself in a position of total surrender to My Spirit, says the Lord. Only in this way will you be able to yield to the corrections that will come to get you back into a spiritual flow. Be aware that the enemy of your soul will try to pervert the value of these changes by causing you to focus inwardly and receive condemnation. The true value of chastening is for the purpose of solving problems in your life so that your efforts will produce better results. Yielding to this process will be of great benefit to you, but you must deliberately refuse to allow your carnal nature to stubbornly resist.

Hebrews 12:11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

Beloved, You Are In A Season When You Can Grow By Leaps And Bounds In Your Discernment

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Beloved, you are in a season when you can grow by leaps and bounds in your discernment. And, it is imperative that you pay attention to the small corrections along the way so that you can make adjustments. The goal is absolute clarity and precision in what you see and hear. Your understanding can get skewed by misinterpretation. Make every effort to stay in the truth of My Spirit, says the Lord.

Revelation 22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

My Challenge To You Now Is To Begin To Walk In An Absolute Faith

It’s All About Jesus!

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — 3/22/11:

I would have My people to once again be a people of faith. My challenge to you now is to begin to walk in an absolute faith that refuses double-mindedness and negativity; a faith that refuses to allow the enemy to gain the victory over you. So rise up, you people of faith, for it is by faith that you overcome the world. It is by faith that you enter into a fullness of life in the kingdom of My Son, says the Most High. Come forth in faith and walk in the power of it. Demonstrate the kingdom and manifest the supernatural and the fullness of that which I am doing. Begin to decree and to declare and to write a thing, for as it is written it is released in to the heavenlies and it shall come forth as My word and My word does not return to Me void, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/22/11:

It is more important than ever that you keep yourself from distractions. Stay present in life, in what is before you to do today. The tendency and temptation will be to look to the future and to imagine life apart from your current reality, or to live in the regrets of the past. Neither of these mental positions is helpful or healthy. You must make an effort to stay focused and walk in the Spirit, says the Lord.

Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

One may have overslept this morning and may have entered one’s prayer closet at 5:37 AM.  Please forgive one for being late this morning Lord Jesus.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Psalms 107.  Thank You Jesus!

I Am With You And I Will Not Forsake You, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/23/2010:

whatever is necessary to maintain spiritual equilibrium. The enemy wants to get you off balance so that you will feel vulnerable and succumb to his lies about you. Make every effort to walk in the Spirit and see your issues and circumstances from an eternal perspective. Don’t take yourself or others too seriously. I am with you, and I will not forsake you, says the Lord. Look to Me for truth.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Be Strong And Do Not Lose Heart

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/16/2010:

Be strong and do not lose heart. Refuse to give up. The enemy would have you to believe in hopelessness, but he will not succeed as long as you maintain your position of hope. Give him no ground. Take the time and make the effort to exercise your faith and to believe Me and know that I have heard your prayers, says the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

One may have awakened early this morning and may have felt discouraged.  One may have heard a voice that may have said that one should stop going into one’s prayer closet and that one should stop posting on one’s blog and on Facebook and Twitter.  One may have dismissed the thoughts.

Resist The Temptations That The Devil Brings To Cause You To Get Discouraged

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Nov. 4, 2010:

Beloved, resist the temptations that the devil brings to cause you to get discouraged. Stand strong and believe. Refuse to allow fear to undermine your faith and your ability to achieve and maintain emotional and mental stability. The breakthrough that will follow this time of testing will be well worth the effort necessary to overcome, says the Lord.

John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Come To Me!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Oct. 14, 2010:

Choose your reactions and responses wisely in order to maintain peace as well as spiritual and emotional equilibrium. When chaos is in your state of being and doing it is a signal that something is out of order. Take the time and make the effort to re-establish your trust in Me, says the Lord. Be done with fear, and come back into the safety of My presence. Come to Me!

2 Corinthians 10:5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

One may have awakened to the sound of one’s 3:00 AM alarms’ every five minutes repeats at 3:16 AM.  The 3:20 AM alarm may have sounded on schedule and one may have gotten up and logged onto one’s computer.

You Have Come This Far, Do Not Turn Back

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 6, 2010:

I kept hearing in my spirit the phrase “point of no return”. The point of no return is defined as the point beyond which you must continue on your current course of action, either because turning back is physically impossible or because to do so would be prohibitively expensive or dangerous. It is also used when the distance or effort required to get back would be greater than the remainder of the journey or task undertaken. And, I heard the Lord say: Even though fear of the unknown outcome of your present course would tempt you to go back to what seems safe or familiar, you must press on. To not press on would mean spiritual stagnation. The challenges you face in the days ahead will give opportunity for greater wisdom, strength and stability than you could ever have imagined. You have come this far; do not turn back.

Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

One may have overslept.  One may have read the Spririt of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may not have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have been detained and proceeded to praise the Lord.

One may have confessed one’s sins but never completed one’s confessions.  One may have slipped into a day of rebellion, old habits and ways.  It may have started at the beginning of this week and progressed more and more each day.

There may not be a scripture for today; one may not have prayed for one.  One may not have prayed for the outstanding prayer requests.

Please Lord forgive one’s many sins, in Jesus’ name one may pray, amen.

Come For A Time Of Restoration And Healing Of Body, Soul And Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — April 13, 2010:

When you find yourself pushing hard, you must also take the time necessary to rest. Your refreshing comes from quieting your soul and seeking to be in My presence, says the Lord. Unburden yourself and come for a time of restoration and healing of body, soul and spirit. I will breathe new life into you when you take the time and make the effort to come.

Acts 3:19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

One may have awakened this morning to the sound of the alarm.  One may have dozed off for a few minutes.  One may have awakened and assumed that one may have been late for one’s special time with Jesus.  One may have checked the time, it may have been 3:28 AM.  One may not have been late but knew that one may not have been able to get prepared and enter one’s prayer closet on time.

One may have logged onto one’s computer and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!  One may have gathered items needed for one’s prayer closet time.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:33 AM.  One may have been late.  Please forgive one Lord Jesus.  One may have praised the Lord with songs of praise, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Ezekiel 41.  Thank You Lord Jesus.

Be Sensitive To The Leading Of My Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 21, 2010:

Be sensitive to the leading of My Spirit, for you are entering a time when you can truly put an end to procrastination and tie up loose ends. I am surrounding My people with an extraordinary measure of favor and grace to do all that is necessary. As soon as you choose to be done with the things that have overwhelmed you, the burden of heaviness will lift and you will be free to move forward. I will enhance and accelerate your every effort, says the Lord, but you must take the first step.

Hebrews 12:12-13 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

One may have awakened early this morning and did some writing.  One may have fallen back asleep.  When it may have been one’s appointed time to get up, one may have felt really tired.  One may have considered sleeping another hour at least.  One knew in one’s heart that the thought was not possible and that one must keep one’s appointed time with Jesus at 3:30 AM.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.   It may have been the answer to one’s prayer from earlier in the morning.  One may have asked the Lord for help.  One may have actually written the prayer down in one’s writings.  Again, Jesus provided help and encouragement for one through the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  Thank you Jesus.  Now one may know what one must do.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time.  One may have sung praises to the Lord, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Ezekiel 3.

Thank you Lord for helping one to remember the passage for today. As one may have been writing just now one had absolutely nothing; one may have totally forgotten today’s passage of scripture and had no clue whatsoever.  One may have prayed to the Lord asking for help; Ezekiel 4 may have come to one’s mind.

One may have checked the post from yesterday to make sure that one was not thinking of yesterday’s scripture.  The passage of scripture from yesterday may have been Amos 1.

One may have grabbed one’s Bible and began to read Ezekiel 4.  One thought, “This is not it.”  Although one may have read this chapter in the past, it may not have felt familiar or recent.

One may have flipped the page back one, revealing Ezekiel 3.  One may have begun to read this chapter.  “That’s it!” one thought and thanked the Lord for His help.

One may have left one’s prayer closet at 4:30 AM.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.

Lord Jesus, thank you for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.
