You Would Do Well To Embrace All That I Am Doing In You This Season, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Be aware that you will have opportunities to see yourself in the light of My Spirit and overcome aspects of your nature that have been detrimental to your spiritual growth and well-being. You can either accept this correction or reject it; it is your choice. But, receiving correction will bring greater freedom and clarity. You would do well to embrace all that I am doing in you in this season, says the Lord.

Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

I Will Direct Your Steps

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 12/8/2010:

Beloved, embrace the changes, both naturally and spiritually, that will take you on the next leg of your journey. These are likely to be smaller course corrections rather than broad, sweeping changes. But, either way, stay flexible and willing to go with the flow of My Spirit, says the Lord, and I will direct your steps.

Isaiah 52:12 For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Oct. 20, 2010:

Beloved, this is not only a season of harvest but one of opportunity. You will have opportunities to broaden your understanding and expand your vision. Things that have remained hidden from your view will suddenly be revealed as I realign you to be in tune with the deeper things of My Spirit, says the Lord. If you will embrace these opportunities you will be absolutely invigorated.

Do Not Go Out Ahead Of Me

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 22, 2010:

Take each step in faith and in obedience, not trying to go beyond where you are at any given moment. Do not go out ahead of Me. You can only do what is given you to do now. Stay in present spiritual reality, and walk in complete confidence that I am directing your steps, says the Lord. There is a great blessing released when you embrace your now moments with eternal hope.

Psalms 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way.

Walk With Me; Talk With Me And Be One With Me, Says The Lord Jesus Christ

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — May 17, 2010:

This is true — I am indeed bringing you higher. I’m lifting you up to places where you have never been before. I am bringing you forth in the new season that I Myself have assigned. For I am the Lord that brings the revelation of that which I am doing. I bring this understanding to you so that you may ready yourselves and be a part of this activity, which will give glory to the Father and will greatly increase your knowledge of the working and the function of the kingdom of God. So get ready to learn and make the Holy Spirit your Teacher and align your spirit with Him so that He may teach you. For you have an unction from the Spirit to be led and guided and taught by that most Holy One. Embrace this work and be renewed in Spirit. Embrace this work that I am doing right now for I am preparing you to walk in the glory, which I am releasing at this time. Walk with Me; talk with Me and be one with Me, says the Lord Jesus Christ.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 17, 2010:

I am calling My warriors forth to be strong and to rise up and do battle. Many of you, My people, were once valiant and brave, but you have not engaged in war for a long time. This is because you didn’t understand that you cannot fight without your full armor, and the enemy retaliated. I am rallying My troops, don your armor, and I will send you forth in righteousness, says the Lord.

Ephesians 6:12-17 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

One may have awakened to the sound of one’s alarm at 3:00 AM.  One may have reset it for 3:20 AM.  One may have gotten up at the sound of the second alarm reluctantly.  One may have been tired and wanted to sleep.

You Will Be Able To See From A New Vantage Point

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 30, 2009:

You are beginning to awaken from what seems to have been a deep sleep and troubling dreams. The circumstances that have dictated the direction of your life have been bizarre and disorienting, but now you will begin to have greater understanding and clarity of purpose. Do not mourn over what seems to be lost; things had to change in this course correction. In the process, you certainly have not lost Me, says the Lord, but you are about to embrace destiny in reality. You will be able to see from a new vantage point.

Isaiah 41:18 I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

One may have awakened at 3:00 AM.  One may have had a few weird dreams.  In one of the dreams, a neighbor’s (from the neighborhood where one may have grown up) dog may have attacked one.  It may have had one by the throat but it did not hurt.  When the owner came, they may have been too slow to get their dog.  When they attempted to move the dog, the dog tightened its’ grip around one’s throat.  One may have become enraged and said a few choice words and then one woke up.  How weird?  One may have prayed only to go back to sleep and have two more weird dreams.

One may have logged onto one’s computer and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have confessed one’s sins including the sin from one’s dream.  When one had awakened from the first dream, one may have felt the anger still lingering.  One may have thanked the Lord after confessing one’s sins.

One may have had one’s hand in the bible and just opened it.  One may have thought, “I have to be led by the Lord.”  Again, one may have gone to another passage of scripture but one may have felt that one had prayed half-heartedly.  Finally, one looked up to heaven, stood up and lifted one’s Bible as high as one could and asked the Lord to give one the scripture for the day.  One may have opened one’s Bible to Proverbs 29.

One may have left one’s prayer closet and logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer according to your perfect will.

One may have forgotten what the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin may have said this morning as one may have shared the events of the night.  One may have just finished reading the first sentence and laughed with disbelief.  One’s daughter’s eyes may have met one’s eyes with a question.  One may have shared what had just taken place.  How strange that one decided to share one’s dream.  Hmmm?

Resist The Devil, For There Is No Temptation Too Great For You To Overcome

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Dec. 22, 2009:

Beloved, I have already brought warnings to you to guard your heart with all diligence. Be aware that the enemy is roaring around, looking for those who will get in his most dangerous territory through allowing their emotions to run wild. Guard your thoughts and emotions, and refuse to allow the devil to bring discouragement, disappointment and depression. Rise up and embrace My joy, says the Lord, and be strengthened in your inner man. Draw near to me, and place your hope in My love for you. Resist the devil, for there is no temptation too great for you to overcome.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

One may have awakened early this morning, a little after midnight.  One may have decided to write in one’s daily log.  After finishing one’s writings, one may have prayed and opened one’s Bible to Psalms 146.  One may have continued reading.  One may have read:

One may have noticed that all five psalms began with “Praise ye the LORD.”  One may have been encouraged.

One may have fallen back asleep.  The alarm may have gone off. One reset it for 3:20 AM.  When the alarm blared at 3:20 AM, one may have just laid there for a few minutes.  One may have gotten up and preceded to one’s computer.  Once logged in, one may have noticed that a pop-up window was open indicating that one should choose a network option.  Safari may have been open with a message indicating that it could not connect to the Internet.  One may have closed the pop-up window and Safari.

One proceeded to open Safari the second time.  One may have gotten the same message indicating that it was unable to connect.  The system again prompted one to choose a network for this computer.  One may have tried Firefox as well.  One simply did not have an internet connection.

One may have gone over to check one’s modem and router, both were unplugged.  One may have plugged them in.  One may have thought that one could not enter one’s prayer closet if this situation did not get resolved.  One may have been willing to miss one’s special time with Jesus.

One may have tried to open Safari again.  It may have been unable to connect to the Internet.  One tried to set the network, but the options that were available were not working.  One may have thought, “I have to get this resolved, I have to read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.”

One may have thought to reboot the system and hopefully the desired settings would re-establish themselves.  One may have shut down the PC.  One restarted one’s computer.  Once logged in, one may have clicked on Safari and it may have connected as usual.  Thank you Jesus!

One opened one’s e-mail and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have done a few other things as well.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet late.  One may have begun to praise the Lord at 3:35 AM with joyful singing.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, and prayed for the sick.  One may have prayed for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Psalms 139.  Thank you Jesus!

After leaving one’s prayer closet, one may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Afterwards, one may have thought about how one was willing to miss one’s prayer time for the sake of one’s computer.  One may have wanted the issue resolved right away and felt that one could not do anything until one figured out the problem.

Lord, thanks for the help with the computer.  Lord, please forgive one for getting one’s priorities mixed up by putting one’s computer and routine before you, in Jesus’ name, one may pray, amen.
