Pray For Direction And Guidance, And I Will Answer

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

The enemy has set up roadblocks to hinder your progression and cause you to be ignored and overlooked or forgotten about. This might seem like a test of your patience, but it is a direct attack from the enemy to seduce you into negative emotional responses. Your awareness of this condition will make all the difference. All you have to do is to establish your position again, says the Lord. Pray for direction and guidance, and I will answer.

John 14:13 “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Isaiah 5.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  The website’s prayer requests may have been unavailable due to technical difficulty.

Actively Take Control Of Your Mind And Do Not Allow Negative Thoughts Or Emotions To Rule!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 15, 2010:

Beloved, refuse to allow your emotional responses to circumstances make you feel like you are losing ground. Discouragement will disable you and keep you bound by infirmity, making you feel like a victim. But, I have given you power and authority to break free and stay free from everything that would hold you, says the Lord. Actively take control of your mind, and do not allow negative thoughts or emotions to rule.

2 Corinthians 10:4-6 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

One may have awakened early in the morning after 1:00 AM and may have done some writing.  One may have laid back down for a quick nap before one’s prayer closet time.  Around 3:25 AM one may have logged onto one’s computer to check the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have been encouraged by today’s message.

At 3:30 AM one may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have sung praises to Lord and began to pour one’s heart out to Jesus.  Right in the midst of one’s outpouring, one broke out into praise with a song.  One may have been so glad, grateful and thankful that Jesus was a very present help.

One may have confessed one’s sins and thanked the Lord. One may not remember praying for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have prayed (as one may have been writing this afternoon) asking the Lord to help one remember, nothing came to one.  Usually, if one forgets the passage of scripture for the day, the Holy Spirit will bring it back to one.

One may have left one’s prayed closet around 4:30 AM.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank you for hearing and answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

One may want to thank God right now for His goodness.  Yesterday one may have been at an all time low.  One may have anticipated certain events taking place and thought that they could not be changed.  Well Jesus has done just that.  He may have come to one’s rescue and changed some major issues.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have asked the Lord why a certain event could not take place another way. This very question that one may have posed may have been the Lord’s answer to a major concern.  Wow!  One may Hope this means that one may have the mind of Christ.  Lol!  One may be going through, yet, obstacles may be falling by the wayside.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have gotten great news yesterday afternoon concerning an issue that may have been going on for more than a year.  Another hurdle cleared.  Thank you Jesus!

Some things one may not know how they will unfold.  One must trust the Lord and this may be the hardest thing for one to do right now.  One may not know how the blessings or help will come.  One may keep one’s spiritual eyes and ears open.

There may be major decisions that may take place in the near future.  Lord, please lead and guide one and one’s family every step of the way, in Jesus’ name one may pray, amen.
