Take Time To Evaluate Where You’ve Been And To Remember The Things That You Learned Through Your Experiences

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Take time to evaluate where you’ve been and to remember the things that you learned through your experiences.  Do not give in to the temptations that come for you to be a victim of the difficulties you have endured, but rather use those lessons as a platform and a launching pad into greater wisdom and spiritual effectiveness.  Those things have made you stronger and have the potential to increase your faith if you maintain a proper perspective, says the Lord.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

You Have Been Appointed As A Watchmen To Stay Alert And Be Aware For Any Intrusion

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 4/28/11:

When you came into and became a part of the Kingdom of God, you were given spiritual territory to maintain and rule over. You were given authority over the devil and the power to overcome temptation and to rule over your own flesh. You have been appointed as watchmen to stay alert and be aware of any intrusion into your environment. Now you must re-establish yourself in your authority by way of faith, and evaluate the condition of your spiritual atmosphere, and then go to work to make it a clean habitation for My presence, says the Lord.

Ephesians 2:19-22 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

One may have praised the Lord from the confines of the bedroom.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Joshua 17 – Land for Manasseh.  Thank You Jesus!

Repent And Return To Me And Be Re-Established

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/31/11:

I am calling to those of you who made a choice to follow Me and then deviated from the path through sin and distractions. Though you have declared with your mouth that you belong to Me, yet your heart is far from Me. Now take this opportunity to honestly evaluate your spiritual condition, repent, and return to Me and be re-established in a place of spiritual safety, says the Lord.

Zechariah 1:3 Therefore say to them, thus says the LORD of hosts: “Return to Me,” says the LORD of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the LORD of hosts.

Come To Me With Boldness, Faith And The Knowledge That I Am For You And Am With You

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — August 30, 2010:

I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying, take up the measuring rod.  Apply the plumb line and the standard of truth to your own lives.  Before you evaluate the things that are coming upon the earth apply My measuring rod to your own lives.  Surely I shall show you that which is out of order, that which is not plumb, that which needs to have correction brought to it, for you are living in these times when judgment must begin at the house of the Lord before it comes upon the whole of the earth.  So knowing that, the Lord says, rise and measure.  Measure your life, your thoughts, your motives.  Examine yourself to see that you are in faith and that you have established the Lord of Glory as your first priority.  Examine yourself to see if you are living the example of Christ in the earth.  Examine yourself today to see if you are believing Me with a whole heart and to see if your faith is little or big.  Do all of this examination with absolute confidence that I will bring you to the point of perfection, for I shall indeed finish the work I have begun in you.  Rise up and do not stay where you are, but come to Me with boldness, faith and the knowledge that I am for you and am with you, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — August 30, 2010:

Even in your times of busyness be assured that you can do all that requires your attention in a position of absolute trust and rest in Me, says the Lord. Refuse to allow the enemy to pressure you to the point of carelessness or of losing your peace.

Psalms 116:7 Return to your rest, O my soul, for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.

Something Has Changed In Your Spiritual Atmosphere

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — June 2, 2010:

Have you noticed that something has changed in your spiritual atmosphere? Yet, because you have not identified this change, it just seems strange. I have released the power of grace over My people. Evaluate how it affects your soul and your environment and remember it, for surely the enemy is preparing to attack again. And, when he does you will notice the change and be prepared to fight against him. Be aware and be sensitive to these spiritual shifts, go with the flow, and act accordingly, says the Lord.

Romans 13:11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

One may have awakened on one’s own this morning.  One may have fallen back asleep only to wake later feeling refreshed.  One may have thought that one may have missed one’s prayer time.  One may have remembered that one may have possibly left one’s phone in the car.

One may have discovered that one had not missed one’s prayer time.  One may have checked for today’s Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  It may not have posted.  One may have checked a few more times and it may have loaded after several attempts.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  The message may have spoken to one’s heart.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!
