It Is True That You Will Be Held Accountable for Every Idle Word You Speak

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

You might think that when you talk about others in a poor light that you are just sharing your thoughts and feelings. But, this is nothing more than idle chatter and gossip that will open a door for you to be cursed instead of blessed, for the curses that are sent out by the words of your mouth will only come back to yourself. It is true that you will be held accountable for every idle word you speak (Matthew 12:36). You are entering a new season that will bring you closer to Me, but this one thing needs to be done away with by making better choices. You will be glad you chose to watch the words of your mouth.

Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

You have entered a season of change where old things are ending before new doors will open. These changes will take place on a variety of levels and will produce a sense of discomfort. You might even experience some level of anxiety. But, at the very least you will have that out-of-pocket feeling. Do not overreact to your feelings. This is a period of temporary adjustments along the way, for I am positioning you for greater liberty of body, soul and spirit, says the Lord. Don’t be afraid.

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Surrender Yourself Completely To Me, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Surrender yourself completely to Me, says the Lord.  Ask and I will show you areas of your soul where you have reserved the right of exercise and control.  Those places of thought and feelings will remain a battle ground for the enemy to use against you until they are completely surrendered and redeemed.  It won’t be hard for you to recognize those areas because they have repeatedly been the source of difficulty in your life.  Look in the realms of bitterness, condemnation, failure, fear, and worry.  The act of surrender must be a deliberate act of your will.  If you surrender, I will do the work of redemption.

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

When You Put Your Trust In Me, Peace Is Established

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/15/11:

Be still, watch, and discern. If you will quiet your thoughts and silence your feelings, you will have the ability to recognize and identify your spiritual atmosphere apart from your soul and be able to move through difficulties with ease. When you allow fear and anxiety to rule, the outcome is always chaos. But, when you put your trust in Me, peace is established, says the Lord.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
