It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 9/27/11:

There are things that you need to know before you can move forward, but don’t push. Wait on Me, says the Lord, because everything needs to be in order and in perfect timing. Refuse to get frustrated when things aren’t moving along as quickly as you would desire. Take a deep breath, rest in the assurance that I am in control, and trust Me. Everything will be all right.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

You Have Missed A Step And Cannot Go Forward Without Making That Thing Right

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 1/06/2011:

You have missed a step — one little step, and you cannot go forward without making that thing right. You will be hindered and confused as long as you refuse to make it right, says the Lord. Go back to when and where you got off track and take a look. I will show you what you missed if you will trust Me and not get into fear or condemnation. Make the adjustment and everything will fall into place.

Refuse To Waver Through Fear And Unbelief

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 12/17/2010:

Maintain strong faith, and keep moving forward taking one step at a time in the strength and power of My guidance. I will not lead you astray, but like an arrow shot from a bronze bow you will hit the mark and achieve the goal. Refuse to waver through fear and unbelief. Trust Me in all things, says the Lord, for I will direct your steps on a straight and narrow path.

Isaiah 42:16 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them.

I Am The Lord Who Gives Life; I Give This Life To You In Abundance

It’s All About Jesus!

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — 11/8/2010:

I am the Lord Who gives you life; I give this life to you in abundance.  And, with this life comes the living waters.  Will you not drink?  And with this life comes the hidden manna.  Will you not eat?  For when you drink of My water and when you eat of My manna you are strengthened.  Wisdom will come to you.  Joy will be yours, and you will possess peace.  I say these are gifts that I give unto My people. These things I have promised and these things I now give.  So receive and allow your faith to function.  For when you touch the hem of My garment you will have that which you have asked for, that which you have sought for, and that for which you have knocked upon the door of My heart. So I say come, come now and receive of that which I give, says the Lord God.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/8/2010:

I saw what seemed like a solid rock wall, and as I pondered this looming obstacle, I realized that each time I experienced a small victory and expressed my joy pieces of the wall turned to dust and fell to the ground. The more I rejoiced, the more victories I achieved, and the more the wall fell down until finally the wall that once stopped my forward progress was only dirt under my feet.

2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

I Will Lead You, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 9, 2010:

Do you hear the sound of the trumpet blast? It is the predominant sound in the realm of the Spirit to call you, My people, to come up higher. Those of you who have ears to hear will hear the sound that resonates with your heart to draw near to Me to receive instruction and direction for the next significant phase of your journey. Quiet your soul and listen with a sense of purpose and intention, ready to move forward with resolve and determination. I will lead you, says the Lord.

Psalms 47:5 God has gone up with a shout, The LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

One may have awakened a little before midnight and may have fallen asleep after 2:00 AM.  One may have wanted to be physically refreshed and revitalized before one’s prayer time with Jesus.

One may have awakened on one’s own.  It may have been close to 6:30 AM.  One may have overslept and may not have heard one’s alarms as they may have signaled for one to get up for one’s special time with Jesus.

One may have jumped up and may have quickly read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have praised the Lord with song and confessed one’s sins.  One may have had to leave one’s prayer closet and may have finished one’s prayer time in one’s bedroom.  One may have finished confessing one’s sins and one may have thanked the Lord.

One may have prayed for a passage of scripture later in the day.  One may have been led to Mark 16.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have prayed for the outstanding prayer requests this afternoon.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

For Your Body Is The Temple Of The Holy Spirit And Unbelief Should Not Be Found In Your House

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — February 8, 2010:

It is important in this season, My children, that you believe; that you come to a place of faith in My word and in My promises, and that you put all unbelief out.  For your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and unbelief should not be found in your house.  Your house belongs to Me, and I bring the power of faith to bear in your life.  Therefore, I say again, defeat all unbelief.  Make it your life’s work in this season that you will not allow it to question My word or to overshadow and steal My promises.  I say believe, for all things are possible to the one who believes.  All things may be received by the one who believes.  Be that one in this season; one with Me.   And, may it be said in your heart that I no longer live by the measurement of my own faith, but I now live by the faith of the Son of God, who has given Himself for me.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — February 8, 2010:

Now is the time when you can realize breakthrough and move forward in My purposes, for I am causing you to deal with your own heart and rise above the flesh into the Spirit where liberty abounds. Release yourself from everything — every thought, every emotion and every decision that has been in opposition to My name, says the Lord. Then, you will find the bondages broken and the chains of restriction removed so that you can flee from the prison of your own making.

Psalms 107:14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces.

One may have awakened this morning and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have been encouraged.  There may be things going on in one’s life that may require one to demonstrate extreme faith.  For only Jesus may be one’s present help.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet and praised the Lord.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Ezra 3.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Freedom Awaits!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — February 5, 2010:

Watch as I bring answers to long-awaited questions and conclusions to unresolved problems. I am offering opportunities to put things right so that you can move forward unhindered. You cannot receive the fullness of My blessings and provision without resolution of old issues, says the Lord. And, I have opened the door and made a way for you to deal with those things that have hampered your progress and kept you bound. Freedom awaits!

Matthew 18:15-17 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that _by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.”

One may have got up after the second alarm.  It may have been around 3:25 AM.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have asked the Lord to reveal to one any issues one may have that need to be resolved.  One may not have been able to think of any.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins and thanked the Lord.  One may have prayed for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Psalms 19.  Thank you Jesus.

At 4:30 AM, one may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Issues may have come up today and one may have thought, “Why?”  One may have remembered that one asked the Lord to reveal where one may have issues that need to be resolved.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have gone to the eye doctor today.  One may have had a strong desire to get one’s eyes checked.  One may have asked one’s sister for their assistance in order to keep one’s appointment.  One may have shared with one’s sister that one had to go and could not reschedule.

Years ago one may have had one’s eyes checked and may have been told by the optician to have one’s eye’s checked at least every two years.  The individual may have said that one may be a candidate for glaucoma.  They may have given one the details on what they may have seen and the reason for concern.

The individual at the doctor’s office may have used an instrument to check one’s eyes for glaucoma.  Upon checking one’s right eye, the individual may have said, “Wait a minute, that can’t be right.”  They may have checked the other eye and said, “What’s wrong with this thing?”  They may have shared the results after several attempts to get accurate readings.  One’s levels may have been well above the normal range, indicating glaucoma.  One may have shared that a relative may have glaucoma.

The doctor came in and said that they would do more tests with a different instrument.  One may have shared that one may know of only one relative that may have glaucoma.  The doctor may have said, ”It has to start somewhere.”  One could not help but think of generational curses.  One may have prayed to the Lord silently, one may have asked Him to please heal one right now in Jesus’ name, amen.

The doctor may have conducted all of the necessary tests.  The doctor may have told one that one’s test results were normal.  They may have said that something was a little large but they were not concerned about it.  The doctor may have scheduled one for a visit in three months to do a routine follow up and to rule out glaucoma.

Thank you Jesus!  One may believe You answered that prayer right then and there and healed one with your healing power.  Lord you are so awesome!  One may be truly grateful.  Thank you Jesus!

Be Sensitive To The Leading Of My Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 21, 2010:

Be sensitive to the leading of My Spirit, for you are entering a time when you can truly put an end to procrastination and tie up loose ends. I am surrounding My people with an extraordinary measure of favor and grace to do all that is necessary. As soon as you choose to be done with the things that have overwhelmed you, the burden of heaviness will lift and you will be free to move forward. I will enhance and accelerate your every effort, says the Lord, but you must take the first step.

Hebrews 12:12-13 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

One may have awakened early this morning and did some writing.  One may have fallen back asleep.  When it may have been one’s appointed time to get up, one may have felt really tired.  One may have considered sleeping another hour at least.  One knew in one’s heart that the thought was not possible and that one must keep one’s appointed time with Jesus at 3:30 AM.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.   It may have been the answer to one’s prayer from earlier in the morning.  One may have asked the Lord for help.  One may have actually written the prayer down in one’s writings.  Again, Jesus provided help and encouragement for one through the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  Thank you Jesus.  Now one may know what one must do.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time.  One may have sung praises to the Lord, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Ezekiel 3.

Thank you Lord for helping one to remember the passage for today. As one may have been writing just now one had absolutely nothing; one may have totally forgotten today’s passage of scripture and had no clue whatsoever.  One may have prayed to the Lord asking for help; Ezekiel 4 may have come to one’s mind.

One may have checked the post from yesterday to make sure that one was not thinking of yesterday’s scripture.  The passage of scripture from yesterday may have been Amos 1.

One may have grabbed one’s Bible and began to read Ezekiel 4.  One thought, “This is not it.”  Although one may have read this chapter in the past, it may not have felt familiar or recent.

One may have flipped the page back one, revealing Ezekiel 3.  One may have begun to read this chapter.  “That’s it!” one thought and thanked the Lord for His help.

One may have left one’s prayer closet at 4:30 AM.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.

Lord Jesus, thank you for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.
