Be Still And Discern What It Is That Hinders Your Walk In The Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Be still and discern what it is that hinders your walk in the Spirit. There are people you must forgive and issues that you have to release in order to be free enough to move in the flow of My Spirit unhindered. But, you must get quiet enough to see and understand how important it is for you to stay clear spiritually, mentally and emotionally. Otherwise, there will be things in the natural realm that will siphon off your physical and spiritual energy. Now is the time to deal with all unrighteousness, says the Lord.

Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

Maintain A Positive Outlook As You Continue To Progress In Spiritual Reality

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 12/23/11:

You are entering a season when you will be able to gain new perspective and perhaps see a theme as the details begin to come together in a comprehensive overview. It would be a mistake to give the temporary details of your life more significance or power than they deserve. In the long run what really matters is your spiritual relationship with Me, says the Lord, and not the natural things that distract you from that which is really important. Maintain a positive outlook as you continue to progress in spiritual reality.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Matthew 13 – The parable of the sower.  Thank You Jesus!

Be Reminded That You Are In A Season Of Restoration

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 5/10/11:

I speak to those who feel disconnected either from Me, says the Lord, or those who have been a source of encouragement in the past. You have not set out deliberately to pull away, but your focus has shifted and your life has taken a different turn. Now is the time to re-evaluate your life’s direction and consider the relationships that are important to you and then choose to let some go while reconnecting with others. Be reminded that you are in a season of restoration, and there are things that need to be recovered at this time.

Proverbs 25:25 As cold water to a weary soul, so is good news from a far country.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to 1 Corinthians 13 – Do everything with love.  Thank You Jesus!

Let Me Be Your All In All

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/12/2010:

Stop and consider that I am causing you to get back to basics. It is important for you to be established in the simplicity of faith, which is the basis of relationship with Me, says the Lord. And, it is time to strip away the things that have complicated and stretched your beliefs, your relationships, your finances, and your daily existence. Be content with the essentials, and let Me be your all in all.

Philippians 4:12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

One may have awakened to the sound of one’s 3:20 AM alarm on the morning of 11/12/10.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for this day.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

At 3:30 AM, one may have praised the Lord with song in one’s prayer closet.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for this day.  One may have been led to 2 Samuel 19.

One may have just prayed to the Lord this morning as one may be writing this message.  It may be 1:03 AM, on 11/13/10.  One may have been tired last night and may have fallen asleep.  One may have set one’s alarm to awaken one at 10:00 PM, yet one may have ignored the alarm and any subsequent alarms and may have continued to sleep.

One may have forgotten the scripture that the Lord may have given one for the blog and one may have had absolutely nothing.  One may have just prayed and asked the Lord for help.  One may have waited patiently.  2 Samuel came to one and one may have remembered some of the individuals who may have been in the selected text.  One may not have remembered the exact chapter.

One may have wondered if this chapter that one may have remembered had been from earlier this week.  One may have checked one’s blog.  There may not have been any scripture recently from 2 Samuel.

One may have grabbed one’s Bible and may have randomly opened it to 2 Samuel.  One’s eyes may have fell on the text concerning Mephibosheth.  This may have been the exact chapter that Lord may have chosen for this blog.

The Lord may have brought one back to the chapter and to the place in the scripture that may have pricked one’s heart at the beauty of the love and loyalty of Mephibosheth, Saul’s son to King David.  One may not have expected one’s heart to be touched, it may have just happened.  One may have been deeply moved by Mephibosheth’s humility and submission to the king that one may have been brought to tears that may have overflowed from one’s eyes and heart.  Thank You Jesus!

I Am The Lord God Of Heaven Who Watches Over All

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — Oct. 18, 2010:

Come unto Me all you who are weary and heavy laden.  Come, I say, and lay those burdens down.  Bring them once again to the altar of God.  Bring them and submit them to Me, for I alone can take these burdens, make the wrongs right, bring you from darkness into light, and bring you from faith to greater faith.  So this day, I say, release those burdens unto Me and rise up on wings of eagles and soar in the heavenlies.  Come face to face with Me now and you shall be renewed and set free, for I am the Lord God of heaven Who watches over all and I will bring you through to victory, says the Lord of Glory.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Oct. 18, 2010:

You are still in a season of harvest when you can enjoy the fruit of your labor, but at the same time old issues will present themselves for release and forgiveness of others as well as yourself. In this process you can discover the condition of your spirit and receive healing where there is still damage. Pay attention and yield to this important work of My Spirit, says the Lord. The result will be unprecedented liberty. Rejoice!

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

One may have awakened this morning and may have checked the time.  It may have been 3:03 AM.  One may have gotten up and logged onto one’s computer.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

Keep Your Focus On The Truth Of My Word

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Oct. 7, 2010:

Beloved, do not concern yourself with what you cannot see. I will show you things that you need to look at and understand as you go. It is important that you keep your focus on the truth of My Word. If you will stay in truth you will walk in freedom. When you find yourself in chaos and confusion it is because your mind is divided. Now is a time when it is of paramount importance that you guard your faith and focus, says the Lord.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

One may have finally awakened to the sound of one’s alarm after hearing it (but not comprehending) for several intervals.  It may have been exactly 3:30 AM.  One may have dashed to one’s prayer closet.  One may have made it on time.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have praised the Lord with song.  One may have left one’s prayer closet to take care of something that one may have decided, could not wait.  Next, one may have thought to take an awesome supernatural book with one into one’s prayer closet to thank Jesus personally for the book.

One may have looked for the book to no avail.  One may have prayed for the Lord’s help.  One may have thought that one may have left the book at an establishment.  One may have seen the book protruding from underneath an object.  One may have grabbed the book and may have taken it inside one’s prayer closet.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have decided that one needed to restart one’s prayer time.  Most of one’s time may have been wasted outside of one’s prayer closet.  One may have recommitted to staying the required duration and may have started one’s special time with Jesus all over again.

One may have Praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Amos 1.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for the outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Complete Breakthrough Is Still Ahead And Will Require Determination To Push Through

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — June 21, 2010:

Position yourself for further breakthrough in your circumstances. You have been waiting for certain resolution before you can feel free to move on, and now is the time for things to get settled at least in some ways. Complete breakthrough is still ahead and will require determination to push through. But, for now you can breathe a temporary sigh of relief, says the Lord, as you gain important intermediate ground.

Psalms 70:5 But I am poor and needy; make haste to me, O God! You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay.

One may have awakened and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!
