Do Not Put Your Trust in Man, but Trust Only Me, for I Am Trustworthy and Will Never Leave You Nor Forsake You

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Things are not as they seem. Stop and discern the attitudes and motives that lie behind words and actions. Do not put your trust in man, but trust only Me, for I am trustworthy and will never leave you nor forsake you. Be assured that nothing is hidden from My sight, and I will bring everything hidden in darkness to the light. Stand in a place of integrity before Me, says the Lord, for I am your place of safety, your holy habitation.

Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting

Be Careful What You Share With Others

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Be careful what you share with others. Your words will either build up or tear down everyone who hears you. Expressing your worry, discouragement, disappointment, and anger will result in defiling those around you, and you will be held accountable for every negative or idle word spoken. (Mt. 12:36) Set a new standard for yourself to only speak as led by the Spirit, and refuse to backbite, gossip, criticize, judge, or tear people down. I am calling you, My Church, to a new spiritual level that can only be attained through righteousness and integrity. Don’t miss the opportunities to access these greater heights, says the Lord.

James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.

One may have begun to praise the Lord around 3:34 AM.  Please forgive one Lord Jesus.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.

Be Genuine And Deal With Your Relationship Problems In Humility And With Sincerity

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns–01/31/12:

In a vision I saw someone sanding a table until it was smooth, but when the job was done the table was no longer flat or level. The person went ahead and varnished it anyway. I asked the Lord to give me the meaning of the vision, and he showed me that the table represents social unity. Sanding it is the effort to smooth out a rough situation or a relationship. However, it is not level because dissension and insecurity still exist. The varnish indicates that the issue has not been dealt with honestly or with integrity, and the person is just putting up a front. And, the Lord says, you must forgive from your heart. Trying to fake it is hypocrisy and accomplishes nothing. Be genuine and deal with your relationship problems in humility and with sincerity.

Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Rejoice And Be Glad For The Time Of The Victory And The Day Of My Power Is At Hand

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns – 12/5/11:

You have been taught My word, and My ways have been revealed to you by the spirit of truth. You have been equipped by the spirit of power as you have embraced the gifts of the Spirit and have believed that you can operate in these. And now you are entering a time of testing so that you can apply that which you have learned and that which you have received. In this season you can pass the tests that come by using the authority that you have been given. These tests will strengthen you and will teach you responsibility and integrity. They will equip you to be more than conquerors and enable you to be overcomers. This is an important season in which I am preparing My people to become a glorious church. It is a season in which you must live by My prophetic and written word. You must now learn to apply by faith My words to every test, and if you do so, you will have victory and reason for celebration. Present vision will be established as you embrace the challenges of this season. My people will not perish for a lack of vision in this season. Rejoice and be glad for the time of the victory and the Day of My power is at hand, says the Lord.

Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns – 12/5/11:

To those of you who have fought the good fight, I tell you honestly that you have punched through hindrances and dispelled the darkness so that you are able to see with more clarity and walk in more freedom. The battle has been fierce and your adversary has been tough, but you have risen up in faith, stayed the course, and overcome. Rejoice in victory, says the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do Not Neglect Your Times Of Intimacy With Me

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 10/11/11:

Quiet your soul and settle into the responsibilities given to you for this time. It will be through integrity and excellence that you will achieve what I have set before you. Keep in mind that the realm of the Spirit will be reflected in your natural environment. Keep the faith and refuse to allow the enemy to get you off course. Do not neglect your times of intimacy with Me, says the Lord, for I am your glory and strength.

Colossians 3:22 Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.

One may have known hours before that one may not have been able to meet with Jesus.  Actually, one may have been dead set on missing one’s special time with Jesus for this day.  One may have begun confessing one’s sins around 2:00 AM.

At 3:28 one may have thought to check the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have gotten to the sentence,”Do not neglect your times of intimacy with Me…”  One may jumped up from the computer chair while laughing.  With a smile on one’s face, one may have said, “Okay Jesus.” One may have glanced at the time on the computer; it may have been exactly 3:30 AM.  One may have started praising the Lord with song.

As one may have approached one’s prayer closet, one may have looked at one’s cell phone, it may have been 3:31 AM.  One may have been late.  One may have continued praising the Lord.  One may have finished confessing one’s sins.  One may not have prayed for a passage of scripture or the outstanding prayer requests for this day.

Beloved, You Are On A Firm Foundation, Which Is Christ The Rock

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/10/11:

Beloved, you are on a firm foundation, which is Christ the Rock. I tell you the truth, you cannot build and tear down at the same time. I have called you to build with the Word, with your own words of truth, with faith and in obedience. Build the kingdom with integrity and diligence by the power of My Spirit, and refuse to tear down through operating in the works of the flesh. Arise and build, says the Lord.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/9/11:

You are My anointed, and I have raised you up to do all that is in My heart and in My mind. Your faithfulness goes before you in the spiritual realm to establish the way of favor. Hindrances have to give way to the light of those who walk upright and go forth with integrity and humility. You belong to Me and are My chosen, says the Lord.

I Am A God Who Cannot Lie, And I Call You By My Spirit To Be Truthful And To Keep Your Word

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — July 5, 2010:

I am a God who cannot lie, and I call you by My Spirit to be truthful and to keep your word. Do not swear or promise deceitfully by saying you will do something and then not do it. You, My people, must carry the integrity of the Kingdom in your hearts and in your actions. It is better for you not to make a promise at all than to promise and not fulfill it. Whatever you vow to men, you vow to Me, says the Lord.

Ecclesiastes 5:4 When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; for He has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed-

Walk In the Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 20, 2010:

Be obedient to My Word, for it will be your place of safety and protection in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. You can do nothing about this generation, but you can do plenty to be people of the Spirit and truth. Maintain your integrity even when surrounded by darkness and trouble. You are people of light and not darkness, so walk in the light, says the Lord. Walk in the Spirit!

Philippians 2:14-16 Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

One may have awakened this morning.  One may have logged onto one’s computer and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been so encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have been struggling in one’s walk to do that which is right lately.  One may have knowingly sinned against the Lord.  It may have stemmed from offenses committed against one.  One may have decided to repeatedly share the offenses with several individuals.

One may seem to be getting a handle on one’s sin or either one may have sinned so much in this area, there may be nothing else to say.

Nonetheless, one may follow Jesus.  One may desire to be obedient to His word.  Please forgive one Lord Jesus for one’s rebellion, amen.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet one minute late.  Please forgive one Lord Jesus!  One may have sung praises to the Lord, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Nehemiah 13.  Thank You Jesus!

Called To Be Contenders For The Faith

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — April 20, 2010:

You are called to be contenders for the faith. I would have you always bring truth and light where there is error and darkness. I will give you the grace to do this so that the integrity of the Kingdom can be maintained. Do not compromise in allowing duplicity to rule. Bring forth clarity and simplicity in the purity of My Spirit, says the Lord.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

One may have awakened at 3:30 AM.  One may have known that one would be late for one’s prayer time with Jesus.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have praised the Lord with song.  One may have brought some items into one’s prayer closet that may be the Lord’s work but may not be directly related to one’s prayer time.

The cat may have knocked the items into the tub, causing them to get wet.  One may have thrown an item into the trash and dried the other items off.  One may have taken this as a sign to get back on track with the Lord.  Thank You Jesus.

One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Proverbs 11.  Thank you Jesus.
