Your Only Place Of Escape Is In Me, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/25/2011:

You live in times of great evil and adversity. Your only place of escape is in Me, says the Lord. You must come and hide yourself in truth and righteousness so that the enemy cannot touch you and nothing can dissuade you from My purposes and your life in Me. This is a deliberate commitment and takes effort to maintain, but I will give you the help and strength you need. Don’t get caught up in the issues of life and worldly concerns; keep eternal focus.

Psalms 27:5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

One may have begun to praise the Lord with song with song at 5:47 AM. One may have really overslept.  Please forgive one Lord Jesus.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to1 Chronicles 4 – The Prayer of Jabez.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today and may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may not have prayed for the outstanding prayer requests today.

Strive To Enter Into My Presence

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 8/5/11:

Strive to enter into My presence. Take the time and make the effort to connect. I am here, but you must come and worship in spirit and in truth. The issues of life and stress have taken their toll, so come and be refreshed and renewed. I await our communion. Come to Me and let us have sweet fellowship together, says the Lord.

Acts 3:19 “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to 1 Kings 19 – Elijah flees from Jezebel.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Maintaining Peace!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — October 30, 2009:

The stress caused by the issues of life have the potential to create stress in your physical body. Now is the time to deal with the issues and to tie up loose ends that keep you from maintaining peace emotionally, mentally and physically. Do not delay in taking care of these matters; procrastination is your enemy. Be diligent to methodically and consistently keep moving towards freedom and tranquility, says the Lord.

Job 27:21 Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you.

One may have awakened around midnight again.  One may have spent time writing down the events in one’s life.  One may have dozed back off to sleep.

The alarm went off at 3:00 AM.  One reset if for 3:20 AM.  At the sound of the alarm one laid there for just a few minutes more.  Finally, one may have gotten up and logged onto one’s computer.  The screen may have been locked.  One’s mouse was not responding to the clicks, yet the pointer would move around on the screen.

One could not believe this was happening. One prayed a quick prayer for help.  One needed to read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin before one’s prayer time.

One may have rebooted the computer.  At first the mouse was quirky, still not responding to the clicks.  The mouse finally responded, one logged in and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.

It may have been 3:30 AM when one entered the bathroom.  One started cleaning and praising at the same time.  One thanked the Lord and confessed one’s sins.

Confessing one’s sins took all of one’s time to the point that one had to finish up quickly, before 4:30 AM.

At 4:30 AM, one logged onto the site where one may pray for prayer requests.  Everything went smoothly.  Thank you Jesus!

One’s stomach may be upset and hurt from time to time.  One may believe one picked up whatever one’s grandson had.  One may not have a fever or any other symptoms.  Thank you Jesus.

One made a decision about the apostle who one felt compelled to pray for.  The desire to contact the individual became very strong, yesterday.  Just as one was about to contact the individual, one pulled back.  One began to read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletins, starting from the most recent first, looking for help from the Lord.

The message from 10/28/09 spoke to one:

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — October 28, 2009:

Be aware and watch for the enemy’s devices that will saddle you with imposition as he pressures you to act out of a sense of obligation instead of being moved by My Spirit. Just as you, My people, are learning to move in the unbridled liberty of the Spirit, the devil will do his utmost to keep you bound by religious exercise. Recognize it and refuse to be brought into bondage in any way, says the Lord. Obligation has its roots in a spirit of fear. The fear of rejection results in being a people-pleaser.

1 Thessalonians 2:4 But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.

One may have felt obligated to share what one had experienced with the apostle.  Thoughts came to one’s mind about the possible consequences if one did not say anything.  One felt fear.  One’s mind may have been under attack.  Satan is a liar and the accusations just would not stop.  These may be the very things the Lord warned about.  One let go of this issue completely and gave it to Jesus.

Issues Of Life!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — October 22, 2009:

The Lord said to set a watch for disappointments and to guard our hearts with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23)  And, I kept hearing Johnny Cash’s song “Walk the Line” over and over again. Here are the song lyrics —

I keep a close watch on this heart of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time
I keep the ends out for the tie that binds
Because you’re mine, I walk the line

I find it very, very easy to be true
I find myself alone when each day is through
Yes, I’ll admit that I’m a fool for you
Because you’re mine, I walk the line

As sure as night is dark and day is light
I keep you on my mind both day and night
And happiness I’ve known proves that it’s right
Because you’re mine, I walk the line

You’ve got a way to keep me on your side
You give me cause for love that I can’t hide
For you I know I’d even try to turn the tide
Because you’re mine, I walk the line

I keep a close watch on this heart of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time
I keep the ends out for the tie that binds
Because you’re mine, I walk the line

Song of Solomon 6:3 I am my beloved’s, And my beloved is mine.

One may have awakened to the alarm going off at 3:00 AM.  One may have lain there.  One may have heard the reminder from one’s calendar chirp on one’s computer.

One may have gotten on the computer.  One may have logged onto the site where one may pray for prayer requests.  One may have done this so that one could immediately began to pray for individuals after one’s special time with the Lord.

One read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin and hurried to bathroom to prepare it and spend time with the Lord.

One may have started to praise the Lord at 3:30 AM.  One may have stopped between songs due to something that had been on one’s mind.

Throughout the whole time with the Lord, one may have been struggling with an issue one may have.  One may have confessed one’s sins, which took up most of one’s time.  One may have found oneself consistently in deep thought.  One spoke in tongues during the last four minutes of this special time with Jesus.

At 4:30 AM, one left the bathroom and began to pray for individuals who had requested prayer.  When one submitted the prayer requests, the application timed out because one had logged in before 3:30 AM and it remained idle for over an hour; it may have been a little after 4:30 AM.  These individuals may not have gotten an e-mail stating that one had prayed for them and the requests may have remained outstanding.  Nonetheless, one may believe Jesus answered those prayers.  One logged into the application once again and prayed for individuals.

Lord Jesus, I pray that each prayer was heard and answered according to your perfect will, in Jesus name, I pray, amen.
