Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

You have spent too much time fussing and fuming over issues that you have no control over. You have expended unnecessary time and energy with no results. Only when you truly let go and trust Me will these issues be resolved. Come into My rest and let Me bring comfort to your soul and resolution to your concerns, says the Lord.

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Be Still And Discern What It Is That Hinders Your Walk In The Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Be still and discern what it is that hinders your walk in the Spirit. There are people you must forgive and issues that you have to release in order to be free enough to move in the flow of My Spirit unhindered. But, you must get quiet enough to see and understand how important it is for you to stay clear spiritually, mentally and emotionally. Otherwise, there will be things in the natural realm that will siphon off your physical and spiritual energy. Now is the time to deal with all unrighteousness, says the Lord.

Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

This is a time when you can experience exponential growth if you will only yield to the moving of My Spirit in this season, says the Lord.

Be Sensitive And Let Me Show You By Example The Difference, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns–12/29/11:

Beloved, I am making a distinction between things that are your responsibility and under your authority and those things that are not. Your experience can be on both sides of this issue–taking responsibility that is not yours to take or expecting someone else to take responsibility that is yours. I am bringing correction so that those lines of distinction can be drawn and issues can become clear to you and to others. Be sensitive, and let Me show you by example the difference, says the Lord.

Ephesians 6:5 Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men.

Make A Review Of The Things That I Punctuate In Your Current Environment

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 8/31/11:

Be alert to situations and issues that will serve as a platform from which to deal with old mindsets that will not serve you well in your current journey to higher spiritual ground. Make a review of the things that I punctuate in your current environment, but do so without allowing rejection or condemnation to cloud your vision. The enemy will do whatever he can to keep you from looking at things objectively and with clarity. But if you will see this time as being necessary for instruction leading to greater understanding instead of a personal attack against who you are, it will serve as a springboard to the next phase of your journey. Otherwise, it could just become a trap, says the Lord.

Mark 8:25 Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to John 11 – The death of Lazarus.

I Am With You And I Will Not Forsake You, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/23/2010:

whatever is necessary to maintain spiritual equilibrium. The enemy wants to get you off balance so that you will feel vulnerable and succumb to his lies about you. Make every effort to walk in the Spirit and see your issues and circumstances from an eternal perspective. Don’t take yourself or others too seriously. I am with you, and I will not forsake you, says the Lord. Look to Me for truth.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Recognize My Supernatural Intervention As You Breathe A Sigh Of Relief

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 29, 2010:

There are issues that have needed to be sorted out and brought to new level of clarity and proficiency. I am now giving you the wisdom and direction you need to achieve this position. What seems to have been really complicated and difficult will suddenly become a simple matter of perspective and adjustment, and you will recognize My supernatural intervention as you breathe a sigh of relief, says the Lord.

Proverbs 2:6 -8 For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice, and preserves the way of His saints.

One may have awakened to the sound of one’s alarm.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:35 AM.  One may not be sure why one may have been late.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.

One may have been hoping for a short passage, preferably from Psalms; one may have been tired.  One may have been led to Jeremiah 45.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have proceeded to read the passage of scripture.  One may have turned the page and realized that the passage of scripture may have ended on the previous page.  One may have laughed aloud; this passage of scripture may have been quite short.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for the outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Freedom Awaits!

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — February 5, 2010:

Watch as I bring answers to long-awaited questions and conclusions to unresolved problems. I am offering opportunities to put things right so that you can move forward unhindered. You cannot receive the fullness of My blessings and provision without resolution of old issues, says the Lord. And, I have opened the door and made a way for you to deal with those things that have hampered your progress and kept you bound. Freedom awaits!

Matthew 18:15-17 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that _by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.”

One may have got up after the second alarm.  It may have been around 3:25 AM.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have asked the Lord to reveal to one any issues one may have that need to be resolved.  One may not have been able to think of any.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins and thanked the Lord.  One may have prayed for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Psalms 19.  Thank you Jesus.

At 4:30 AM, one may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Issues may have come up today and one may have thought, “Why?”  One may have remembered that one asked the Lord to reveal where one may have issues that need to be resolved.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have gone to the eye doctor today.  One may have had a strong desire to get one’s eyes checked.  One may have asked one’s sister for their assistance in order to keep one’s appointment.  One may have shared with one’s sister that one had to go and could not reschedule.

Years ago one may have had one’s eyes checked and may have been told by the optician to have one’s eye’s checked at least every two years.  The individual may have said that one may be a candidate for glaucoma.  They may have given one the details on what they may have seen and the reason for concern.

The individual at the doctor’s office may have used an instrument to check one’s eyes for glaucoma.  Upon checking one’s right eye, the individual may have said, “Wait a minute, that can’t be right.”  They may have checked the other eye and said, “What’s wrong with this thing?”  They may have shared the results after several attempts to get accurate readings.  One’s levels may have been well above the normal range, indicating glaucoma.  One may have shared that a relative may have glaucoma.

The doctor came in and said that they would do more tests with a different instrument.  One may have shared that one may know of only one relative that may have glaucoma.  The doctor may have said, ”It has to start somewhere.”  One could not help but think of generational curses.  One may have prayed to the Lord silently, one may have asked Him to please heal one right now in Jesus’ name, amen.

The doctor may have conducted all of the necessary tests.  The doctor may have told one that one’s test results were normal.  They may have said that something was a little large but they were not concerned about it.  The doctor may have scheduled one for a visit in three months to do a routine follow up and to rule out glaucoma.

Thank you Jesus!  One may believe You answered that prayer right then and there and healed one with your healing power.  Lord you are so awesome!  One may be truly grateful.  Thank you Jesus!

Answers And Breakthrough Will Come As You Seek Me

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 28, 2010:

Keep looking up, and refuse to allow discouragement to keep you from breakthrough. There are things over which you have no control, things that are beyond your level of responsibility and authority. These are the circumstances that you need to release to Me, says the Lord. That means you must let go completely. Otherwise, your thoughts and emotions concerning these issues only hinder the work of My Spirit. Answers and breakthrough will come as You seek Me, and I will give you peace when you trust Me.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

One may have awakened at 11 PM yesterday and stayed up until a little after 3 AM this morning.  One may have tried to get a very quick nap before one’s prayer time.  The alarm went off and it may have been time for one to get up.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have thought of situations that one may need to give to Jesus totally.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet a few minutes early and begun to clean. One may have been engrossed in thought and started one’s praise session late. Please forgive one Lord Jesus.

One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.  One may have asked the Lord to choose the scripture that He desired for today.  One may have been led to Psalms 78.  Thank you Jesus.

AT 4:30 AM, one may have left one’s prayer closet feeling very sleepy.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  One may have had to fight to stay awake.

One may have actually dozed off several times and shortly thereafter felt as if someone may have nudged one from one’s sleeping state.  There may be no other explanation for one staying awake.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have lain down for the night.  One may not have been sleepy anymore.  One may have asked the Lord a question concerning this.  One may have had a little trouble getting to sleep.
