Patience Is A Virtue And Is The Ability To Endure And Not Quit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 6/17/11:

As you have heard, patience is a virtue and is the ability to endure and not quit. But you, beloved, have thought of impatience as being antsy and impetuous when it really is the offspring of a spirit of divination, which tries to control. If you can see impatience as being beyond your sphere of responsibility and outside of your boundaries, you will be able to overcome it easily. Then, it is simply a matter of staying in the flow of the things you have legitimate authority over and minding your own business. And, I am with you to help you in this process, says the Lord.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word! Be instant in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Ezekiel 23 – Samaria and Jerusalem.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

The Spirit Of Divination Is On The Rise

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 12, 2010:

The spirit of divination is on the rise. It has once again reared its ugly head to control and manipulate apart from responsibility and legitimate authority. Sharpen your discernment and watch for the manifestation of this spirit to interrupt the flow of My Holy Spirit, says the Lord. Those who allow this spirit to work through them have opened a door and made a way through self-will and rebellion. Stand strong and unwavering in My guidance, for I will direct your steps with the gentle nudging of My Spirit.

1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king.

One may have awakened this morning by the alarm.   One had been up recently, writing, so one definitely wanted to get more rest.  At 3:20 AM, one may have got up to log onto one’s computer.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have been grateful for today’s warning.

Recently, one may have taken matters into one’s own hands.  After the fact, one may have realized one’s folly and that one should have prayed and given the issue to Jesus.  One should have stood back and let God be God.  One may have been self willed and rebellious.  Please forgive one Lord Jesus, in Jesus’ name one may pray, amen.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and prayed for the passage of scripture for today.

One may have stood and lifted one’s Bible towards heaven and prayed.  One may have opened one’s Bible to Daniel 4.  One may have thanked the Lord.  This may be a favorite passage of one’s.  One may like Daniel 3 as well.  One may have been led to Job 18 yesterday.  One may have been blown away by this passage that the Lord had chosen.

At 4:30 AM one may have left one’s prayer closet.  One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.

Thank you Jesus for hearing and answering the prayer requests and one’s prayers.  Amen.
