I’m Looking For a People Who I Can Trust To do My Will With Purity Of Heart

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

I’m looking for a people who I can trust to do My will with purity of heart. They are a people totally dedicated and consecrated to My purposes, who will rise above the flesh and the things of the world to truly walk in the Spirit. They have their ears attuned to My voice, and they follow carefully every directive without selfish pride or personal motive or need for approval. I am looking for a people who will be the people called by My name, says the Lord.

Isaiah 42:6-9 “I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles, to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house. I am the LORD, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to carved images. Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

My Eyes Are Looking To And Fro Throughout The Whole Earth

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 5/25/11:

My eyes are looking to and fro throughout the whole earth to see who will speak for Me. I am looking for purity of heart and profound precision in hearing My voice. I seek those who will rise above the mundane words of self-proclaimed prophets whose words are part iron and part clay–part Spirit and part flesh. For those words do not carrying the strength of My anointing, nor do they give true direction or change the lives of My people. My voice will be heard in the secret places as a still, small voice, but it also resounds, resonates and creates. Will you hear when I speak, says the Lord?

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Jeremiah 22Thank You Jesus!

Come And Commune With Me In The Secret Place

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 2/4/11:

If you will diligently and urgently seek My face with all your heart instead of only looking for me to manifest outwardly, I will release you into a place of freedom and rest. This inward connection is where faith is born; it is the place where prayer is answered. Come and commune with Me in the secret place, which is even hidden from all trouble and stress. Come into My rest, says the Lord, and let Me establish you in peace and joy.

Matthew 6:6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

One may have heard the alarm resound several times.  One may have finally checked the time; it may have been exactly 3:30 AM.  One may have hurried to one’s prayer closet.  One may not have grabbed one’s Bible and may have thought to grab it after beginning one’s prayer time.  One may not have wanted to be late or to miss one’s blessings for the day.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have made it.  Hallelujah!  Thank You Jesus!  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Acts 7.  One may have smiled knowing that the Lord had chosen this scripture and how perfect and awesome He may be.  Yesterday’s scripture for the day may have been Acts 8.  At that time, one may have thought how one may like Acts 7 as well.  Thank You Jesus!

I Will Have A People Who Praise Me, Worship Me And Give The Sacrifice Of Thanksgiving

It’s All About Jesus!

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — 1/24/11:

I say unto you, My people, if you will learn to develop the art of thanksgiving you will become a true worshiper. You’ll become one who worships in truth and in spirit, says the Lord. For the Father is looking for such in these days, and I will have a people who praise Me, worship Me, and give the sacrifice of thanksgiving. I will again have a people who shout from the house tops that the Lord is good and His goodness is running throughout the land. For, in these days it must be that My people know Me, and they shall know Me in the power of their thanksgiving. It is written that I inhabit the praises of My people and I will do so and will become one with them in this the season of ongoing and continuing thanksgiving, says the Lord God.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 1/124/11:

Trust Me for sufficiency. I am your Jehovah Jireh, your Provider, says the Lord. Do not be afraid when you see the world systems continue to fall short, for you are under My economy and not that of the world. I will bring you through tough times when you trust Me to do so without fear or doubt.

Genesis 22:14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of The LORD it shall be provided.”

Refuse To Look At What You Don’t Have Instead Of Being Grateful For What You Do Have

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/25/2010:

Beloved, this is a time when you must refrain from comparing yourself to others. The enemy’s desire is to tempt you to open a door for his access by focusing on your lack. Refuse to look at what you don’t have instead of being grateful for what you do have. This is a snare and a trap that will take you down to the pit of discouragement and depression. Keep looking up, says the Lord.

2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

One may have awakened early.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have thought about the word “pit” and may have been disturbed by the Lord’s choice of words.  “Pit” may refer to hell.  One may have thought that one may need to make a quick attitude change in one’s behavior lately.  One may take heed and  have been encouraged.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Isaiah 48.  Thank You Jesus!

Be Humble, Says The Lord, For The Proud Cannot Receive Correction

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — August 5, 2010:

Be humble, says the Lord, for the proud cannot receive correction. Call this a course correction, for I am bringing correction to you, My chosen ones, so that you can stay on the course I have prepared for you. This is not a time to deviate even slightly from My plan and purposes. These are days of great evil, and the enemy is looking for ways to stop you and keep you from My best. Be vigilant!

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.

One may have awakened this morning at 3:20 AM and may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

Keep Looking Up, Says The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — February 16, 2010:

Take courage and lean on My strength to keep moving through the difficulties that you face. You need to be patient and trust Me to lead, guide, direct and protect you at this time. Do not despair when you do not seem to have what it takes to deal with current issues. Ask, and I will give you wisdom. This too shall pass, and new focus and clarity will come forth like the first rays of sunshine of a new day. Keep looking up, says the Lord.

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

One may have awakened a few hours before one’s special time with Jesus.  One may have worked on an assignment.  One’s grandchild may have awakened a little before one had to enter one’s prayer closet.

One may have taken care of the child and the child may have settled down.  One may have checked the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin before entering one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have been encouraged, thank you Jesus.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time.  One may have begun to praise the Lord with song.  One may have begun to confess one’s sins.  Out of nowhere one may have felt the need to check on the child.  One thought to do it later, after one’s prayer closet time.

One may have found oneself leaving one’s prayer closet and entering the room where the child may have been.  The child may have been asleep.  One may have walked over to the child and discovered that their bottle may have been lying upside down next to the side of their neck.

One may have removed the bottle; it may have been empty.  One may have touch the child’s clothing and discovered that their sleeper, receiving blanket and boppy may have been wet.  Even the child’s hair may have been wet on the back of their head.

One may not be sure if this is even possible.  The entire back of the sleeper may have been wet from shoulder to shoulder.  There may have been a small wet spot on the sheet of the bed.  One may have thought the whole incident weird and suspect.

One may have removed the items, washed the child off and put clean dry clothes on the child.  One may have replaced all the items for the child, including the boppy with a brand new one.

The child may have continued to sleep soundly.  One may have put the wet items and the soiled boppy in the washing machine.

One may have re-entered one’ s prayer closet at 4:03 AM and thanked the Lord for leading one to check on the child.

One may have finished confessing one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and prayed for the scripture for today.  One may have been led to Isaiah 28.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests a little after 4:30 AM.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.
