It Is True That You Will Be Held Accountable for Every Idle Word You Speak

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

You might think that when you talk about others in a poor light that you are just sharing your thoughts and feelings. But, this is nothing more than idle chatter and gossip that will open a door for you to be cursed instead of blessed, for the curses that are sent out by the words of your mouth will only come back to yourself. It is true that you will be held accountable for every idle word you speak (Matthew 12:36). You are entering a new season that will bring you closer to Me, but this one thing needs to be done away with by making better choices. You will be glad you chose to watch the words of your mouth.

Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.

Set A Careful Watch Over The Words Of Your Mouth And The Meditations Of Your Heart

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Set a careful watch over the words of your mouth and the meditations of your heart. Your criticism and judgment of others will open a door for the enemy, and you will also be criticized and judged, which is not conducive to a healthy spiritual environment. I would have you to be about the work of the kingdom, of building up and not tearing down, says the Lord. Love one another as I have loved you.

Matthew 7:1-2 “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Some Things Are To Be Told And Some Things Are To Be Held Close To Your Heart

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

As you are led by My Spirit you will become more acutely aware of what you can reveal and what you must conceal. Some things are to be told and some things are to be held close to your heart. Often it is a matter of circumstance and timing. All you have to do is be sensitive to the spiritual flow, and set a watch over the words of your mouth and wait for the unction of My Spirit, says the Lord.

Matthew 7:6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.”

One may have begun to praise the Lord at 3:35 AM.  Jesus, please forgive one for starting one’s prayer time late.  Thank You Jesus!  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to 1 Chronicles 10.  Thank You Jesus!

Repent And Return To Me And Be Re-Established

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/31/11:

I am calling to those of you who made a choice to follow Me and then deviated from the path through sin and distractions. Though you have declared with your mouth that you belong to Me, yet your heart is far from Me. Now take this opportunity to honestly evaluate your spiritual condition, repent, and return to Me and be re-established in a place of spiritual safety, says the Lord.

Zechariah 1:3 Therefore say to them, thus says the LORD of hosts: “Return to Me,” says the LORD of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the LORD of hosts.

Watch Over The Words Of Your Mouth And Meditations Of Your Heart

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/24/11:

How is it that you expect to be blessed, yet you don’t bless others? In fact, you even curse others with the words of your mouth when it suits your desire. Have you not read that the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity and that is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell? (James 3:6). Beloved, I would have you set a watch over the words of your mouth and over the meditations of your heart, says the Lord.

James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.

Overcome Evil With Good

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/21/11:

If you will learn the art of being the gatekeeper of your own soul by setting a watch over your eyes, ears, and mouth, you will be an overcomer in the temple of the Living God. You must learn to stop the intrusion of the enemy at the gate. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good, says the Lord.

Isaiah 28:5-6 In that day the LORD of hosts will be for a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty to the remnant of His people, for a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and for strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

One may have forgotten the passage of scripture for today.  One may have remembered the book but not the chapter.  One may have attempted to start at Isaiah 20 to look for the passage of scripture.  The Lord may have simply put the exact scripture in one’s mind.  One may be so grateful.  Thank You Jesus!
