You Are My Battle Axes And My Weapons Of War, I Will Train You To Gain The Victory

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — July 20, 2010:

I kept hearing in my spirit the phrase “new batch of recruits.” And, the Lord said: I am the Commander of the Army of the Lord, and I am recruiting those who have a heart to serve and fight against the enemy forces that have gathered against the kingdom of the Most High. You are My battles axes and My weapons of war, and I will train you to gain the victory through the sharp sword of My Word, says the Lord. The call for new recruits has gone forth, but the choice is yours as to whether you will be a force for good against evil.

Jeremiah 51:20 You are My battle-ax and weapons of war: for with you I will break the nation in pieces; with you I will destroy kingdoms.

One may have awakened to the sound of the 3:00 AM alarm.  One may have dozed off.  One may have awakened on one’s own.  One may have looked at the time and may have thought it to be 3:11 AM.  One may have waited a few minutes and looked again.  The time may have been the same.  One may have gotten one’s glasses and may have discovered that it may have been 3:49 AM and one may have been late for one’s prayer time.

One may have logged onto one’s computer and may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have done a few things before entering one’s prayer closet.  One may have entered at 4:05 AM.  One may have praised the Lord, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Mark 13.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have attempted to log onto the computer to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  The Internet service may have been unavailable.  One may have done some writing instead and may have gone to sleep.

One may have prayed for the outstanding prayer request later today.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

If I Am For You It Does Not Matter Who Is Against You

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — April 26, 2010:

Rise up, My children, for indeed it is written and it has been spoken and it is true that the battle belongs to the Lord.  Because it is My battle; I will go with you, and I will strengthen you and teach you how to make war.  I shall bring My battle plans into your mind, and I will reveal the plans of the enemy to you.   You shall be able to go forth with a heart that is set on victory and a mind that knows the reality that if I am for you it does not matter who is against you.  For indeed you are My battle axes, but the battle belongs to the Lord.  So, I will lead and guide you.  You are not in this alone.  Take courage and take heart and rise up for you are crossing through the wilderness into the promises.  Rise up and receive the fullness of your inheritance for I am with you.  I have made a way for you and established the boundaries of your habitation.  I am in charge of your times of visitations and I will send you into war at the appropriate time and equip you for the victory.  Yours is to simply follow with a willing and obedient heart and to receive all that I have to teach you.  These are the days of the manifestation of the glory of God’s kingdom and the army that has been spoken of by the prophet Joel will now begin to arise into a fullness and the victory shall be theirs.  So come and go as I send you.  Be one with Me.  Follow Me absolutely for I shall walk with you on this path into the fullness of your destiny, says the Lord God Almighty.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — April 26, 2010:

Beloved, as long as you are distracted by worries and concerns, you are not discerning My leading. The only way to maintain spiritual clarity is to stay focused and not get sidetracked. Set your heart to know the truth without allowing your emotions and mind to cloud your spiritual perceptions, says the Lord.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy- meditate on these things.

One may have awakened this morning and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time.  One may have praised the Lord with songs of praise.  One may have prayed for one’s right foot that has been bothering one since Saturday morning.  One may not have injured this foot.  One may have prayed for one’s left ankle as well, it may have been hurting.

One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed a brief prayer for the sick.  One may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Jeremiah 40.  Thank You Jesus!
