SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

When your focus is narrowed so that you obsess over things that are not going your way or working the way you desire, you lose perspective and vision. Refuse to concentrate on your worries and woes and do not allow you heart to be hardened to the point of being ungrateful. You can choose to maintain a positive outlook, which will improve your disposition and mental health, says the Lord. Do not despair.

Psalms 107:21 Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM. One may have praised the Lord, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.

One may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to John 13.  Thank You Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:

I am enlightening the eyes of your understanding so that you can see beyond your circumstances and temporary issues to view and understand your calling more fully. This light will bring perspective so that you don’t obsess about that which will come to pass. Set your eyes and your faith on the things that matter long-term, and don’t worry, says the Lord.

Ephesians 1:18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song.  One may have decided to leave one’s prayer closet and pray from one’s bed.  One may have been tired and may have felt discouraged.  One may have fallen asleep shortly thereafter.

One may have awakened much later this morning.  One may have confessed one’s sins (including one’s rebellion), thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Matthew 17Jesus Transfigured on the Mount.  Thank You Jesus!
