A Strong And Important Test Of Your Discernment

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 29, 2010:

The enemy has released an attack against you to press you into service in ways that I have not called you, says the Lord. And, if you refuse, he will heap up condemnation against you to try to force you to be misled and distracted. Recognize this onslaught for what it is and stand firm without remorse or regret. This will be a strong and important test of your discernment. Quiet your thoughts and emotions so that you can know in every situation whether or not you have the witness of the Spirit with your spirit as to what you must do.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit…

One may have awakened after midnight and worked until one’s time to check the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  Upon reading the message, one may have thought, “Oh No!”  One may hate the attacks of the enemy, yet, one may be grateful for the help from the Lord.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet just before 3:30 AM and began to clean and share one’s concerns with the Lord.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.  One may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today.

One may not have remembered the passage of scripture for today as one may have been writing this blog.  One may have asked the Lord in one’s mind to help one remember.  One may have felt fear and queasiness at the that thought that one may have messed up.  Before the feeling could last a second more, the Holy Spirit may have brought it back to one’s remembrance immediately.  It may have been Psalms 107.  Thank you Jesus!  Thank you Holy Spirit!

At 4:30 AM, one may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will.

One’s cell phone may be working perfectly fine.  It may have done some really weird things recently.  One may have captured it in a previous blog.

Have a blessed day!
