Remember That Everything Ultimately Works Together For Good

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

It is My desire, says the Lord, that My children stop beating themselves up over perceived shortcomings and failures. More important than the outcome of any situation is that you do the best you can with what you have; that you turn to Me for wisdom, guidance and direction; that your heart belongs to Me. I would have you put your trust completely in Me to fix the things you can’t. Remember that everything ultimately works together for good. You are precious to Me!

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Be Still, Watch and Discern

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/15/11:

Be still, watch, and discern. If you will quiet your thoughts and silence your feelings, you will have the ability to recognize and identify your spiritual atmosphere apart from your soul and be able to move through difficulties with ease. When you allow fear and anxiety to rule, the outcome is always chaos. But, when you put your trust in Me, peace is established, says the Lord.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Deuteronomy 15 – Instructions for Lending Money. Thank You Jesus!

Be Sensitive To The Work Of My Spirit To Bring Conviction And Correction

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 2/16/11:

I am shining a light on the parts of your life that still need complete sanctification and victory. These are the areas that cause you the most trouble and keep you from breakthrough. Be sensitive to the work of My Spirit to bring conviction and correction, for this is a holy work and worthy of your undivided attention. This is a good work that will bring spiritual wholeness and stability. If you will yield in total submission, you will be delighted with the outcome, says the Lord.

Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Jeremiah 23.  Thank You Jesus!

Speak What I Give You And Move On Without Regret

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 26, 2010:

Watch for the challenges that come through encounters with people who lack spiritual understanding and refuse to hear. Yours is to only speak the truth as a seed planted and release them to Me, says the Lord. Resist the temptation to try to force them to “get it”. Flesh cannot perceive the Spirit. Don’t allow frustration to be the outcome of such an encounter; speak what I give you and move on without regret.

John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

One may have awakened around 11:00 PM yesterday and may have gone back to bed around 2:00 AM this morning.  One’s 3:00 AM alarm may have gone off.  One may have reset one’s alarm for 3:20 AM and dozed off.  One may have gotten up at the sound of the 3:20 AM alarm reluctantly.  One may have wanted to sleep.

One may have logged onto one’s computer and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Jeremiah 15.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  One may have dozed off a few times as one may have been praying due to one being exhausted.  Please forgive one for dozing off briefly, Lord Jesus.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, one may pray, amen.

You Have Come This Far, Do Not Turn Back

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 6, 2010:

I kept hearing in my spirit the phrase “point of no return”. The point of no return is defined as the point beyond which you must continue on your current course of action, either because turning back is physically impossible or because to do so would be prohibitively expensive or dangerous. It is also used when the distance or effort required to get back would be greater than the remainder of the journey or task undertaken. And, I heard the Lord say: Even though fear of the unknown outcome of your present course would tempt you to go back to what seems safe or familiar, you must press on. To not press on would mean spiritual stagnation. The challenges you face in the days ahead will give opportunity for greater wisdom, strength and stability than you could ever have imagined. You have come this far; do not turn back.

Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

One may have overslept.  One may have read the Spririt of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may not have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have been detained and proceeded to praise the Lord.

One may have confessed one’s sins but never completed one’s confessions.  One may have slipped into a day of rebellion, old habits and ways.  It may have started at the beginning of this week and progressed more and more each day.

There may not be a scripture for today; one may not have prayed for one.  One may not have prayed for the outstanding prayer requests.

Please Lord forgive one’s many sins, in Jesus’ name one may pray, amen.

What You Build On The Foundation Must Be Spirit

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — March 17, 2010:

Yield to the working of My Spirit as you deal with things that require your attention and action. Only then, can I lead you in righteousness. If you take matters into your own hands without My direction, you will not like the outcome. Remember that what you build on the foundation must be spirit and not flesh; otherwise it will not endure. Always build and establish the Kingdom in all that you are and all that you do, says the Lord.

1 Corinthians 3:11-13 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.

One may have awakened a little after midnight.  One may have fallen back asleep around 2:00 AM.  At 3:20 AM, the alarm may have sounded and one may have been so tired that one may have pushed the snooze option.  The alarm may have gone off again and one may have turned it off and headed for one’s PC.

One may have logged on and checked one’s e-mail for the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have read the prophecy for today.  Again, one may have been blessed by the message.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet and began to praise the Lord at 3:30 AM.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Isaiah 14.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have prayed for the outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for hearing and answering each request according to your perfect will, amen.

One may have seen this prophecy in action today.  One may have thought to do something yesterday.  One may have had one’s reasons (mainly anger and selfishness) for trying a different avenue to a solution.  One may have found that the new avenue may not have been what the Lord had in store.  It may not have been the answer.  The answer may have been, “No!”

One may have had to resort back to the original plan.  One may have felt led through out the day.  One may have thought to do a particular thing today.  It may not have been required of one until tomorrow.  One may have discovered that tomorrow would have been too late due to a change in the normal flow of things.  Thank you Jesus for leading and guiding one.
