Your Overcoming Is By The Blood Of The Lamb

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 7/22/11:

Your overcoming is by the blood of the Lamb. You cannot overcome by the strength of your flesh; it is only by life in the Spirit when you have died with Christ and been resurrected with Him to live a godly life. Your trying to have victory according to the law will only bring frustration. Rather than trying to kill the flesh by the flesh, walk by faith that it is Christ in you who empowers you to overcome. Yield to the work of My Spirit, says the Lord.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led Lamentations 4 – At last the anger of God is satisfied.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Be Encouraged, Says The Lord

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — June 18, 2010:

Little by little; little by little, you are overcoming and making progress. Don’t give up. Things may be moving along slower than you anticipated or desired, but you are advancing one step at a time. Discouragement will stop this progression faster than anything, so set a careful watch on your emotions. Be encouraged, says the Lord.

Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.

One may have awakened and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.

One may have totally forgotten the passage of scripture for today and may have prayed to the Lord for help.  The first thing the Lord may have given one may have been the name of the book.  One may have said, “No, that’s not it,” to oneself.

One may have proceeded to write one’s blog for today while hoping that Jesus would bring to one’s remembrance today’s passage of scripture.  As one may have been writing one may have remembered that the passage may have been very short.  One may have also remembered the book.  It may have been the book that the Lord may have given one initially.  One may remember the chapter and well. The passage of scripture for today may be Isaiah 12.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests after one’s special time with Jesus.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name one may pray, amen.
