Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Beloved, refuse to lament over what has already been done or become a victim of the past. Nothing you do will change it or make it better, but you can let it go and launch yourself into this new day that is filled with possibilities and opportunities to know Me better and to understand My kingdom with greater clarity. This is a day to forgive and be forgiven, says the Lord. Draw near to Me!

Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus

Be Aware, Beloved, That A Haughty Spirit Is Trying To Find An Inroad That Could Cause You To Stumble

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Be aware, beloved, that a haughty spirit is trying to find an inroad that could cause you to stumble.  It will try to find a way in through misunderstanding and offense.  But, you are well able to discover it and avert its purpose, which is to divide and conquer.  Stay alert to the possibilities because you know that pride goes before a fall and a haughty spirit before destruction.  These are not results that you want to endure.  Stay ahead of this one, and you will be strengthened, says the Lord.

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Maintain Complete Trust And Faith In Me Alone

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 1/19/11:

Beloved, I have gone before you to open avenues of opportunity necessary to fulfill your purpose on the next leg of your journey. The doors are opening for you even now, but you must be alert to the possibilities and be aware of the leading of My Spirit. This will be true in the small or seemingly insignificant things of life as well as the things that could bring broad, sweeping changes. Your part is to go with the flow keeping your focus on Me, says the Lord, as you maintain complete trust and faith in Me alone. I want you to be like clay, malleable and willing to yield to the pressure of My hand through your circumstances, for there are things that still need to be reworked, shaped, and transformed into My image as you progress.

Jeremiah 18:2 -6 “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the LORD. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!

Now Is The Time To Forgive And Release Everyone Who Has Caused You Pain And Anguish

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 12/31/2010:

You are stepping into a new season of opportunities and possibilities. Now is the time to forgive and release everyone who has caused you pain or anguish. You cannot be free to partake of My blessings when you have bitterness in your heart. Also, release and forgive yourself from all that you have done to perpetrate division, strife and contention, and then you can have the freedom to receive My highest and best in the months ahead, says the Lord.

Matthew 5:22-24 “But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire. Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Refuse To Allow The Attacks Of The Enemy To Bring Discouragement

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 24, 2010:

As things unfold before you, take nothing for granted. Recognize divine providence. These are days when you can see purpose in what has taken place in your circumstances as a reference point to where you are going. Refuse to allow the attacks of the enemy to bring discouragement. Let Me establish you in greater discernment and vision as I open your eyes and heart to view your choices and possibilities, says the Lord.

2 Peter 1:2-4 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

One may have awakened to the sound of the alarm.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have pondered over the scripture given today for a while.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins (including being late for one’s prayer time and for one’s anger), thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to Daniel 4.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Don’t Be Afraid To Forge Ahead, But Be Diligent To Discern What Is Of Me, Or Of The Flesh

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — July 14, 2010:

I am releasing a new wave of possibilities as I fling open the doors of hope. This is a time when you can hatch new ideas and creative ways to remove the clogs in expression and progression. If you will seek expansion through My Spirit, you will begin to move in a new flow of freedom. Don’t be afraid to forge ahead, but also be diligent to discern what is of Me, or of the flesh. Your spirit will bear witness to My Spirit, says the Lord.

Hebrews 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

The third alarm may not have gone off.  One may believe that one may have selected “Dismiss” instead of “Snooze” and may have canceled the alarm.

One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Matthew 23.  Thank You Jesus!
