SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/30/11:

Be free of all bondage and keep your heart pure before Me, says the Lord. Then, you will be able to discern spiritually. However, anything that creates darkness in your soul will cause you to dump down in the flesh and will cloud your spiritual perceptions. Be on guard, for this is a time when seductions to choose flesh over Spirit are rampant. Obtain and maintain purity.

Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:50 AM.  One may have late.  Please forgive one Lord Jesus!

One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Mark 10 – Divorce.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord Jesus, thank You for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will.  Amen.

A Child-Like Faith!

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — November 2, 2009:

Defilement has come to your faith because of the trials, tribulation, hardships, disappointments and failures that you have endured. A supernatural life will be restored if you will cleanse yourself from this defilement of your faith. The work that I am presently doing among My people is a restoration of faith – in purity and innocence (a child-like faith). This innocence of faith will produce a strong faith that is not hindered by your past. The apostle Paul tells you what is required to accomplish this process.

Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

This you must do so that your faith can become strong and pure. This beginning again will remove the defilement that has stained your faith. My church will be a supernatural church in the last days, says the Lord. My church will be a glorious church; a faith-filled people will demonstrate the power of My kingdom. So, begin today by positioning yourself to receive this work of Mine. Live the supernatural life, The war has been long, but now comes the victory, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — November 2, 2009:

Beloved, I am relieving you of obligations that have kept you from walking in the liberty of My Spirit. And, I am removing the guilt that others have imposed upon you that kept you from the freedom that I wish for My children. This is a new day and even the beginning of a new era. I will lead you on the path of liberation in this season if you are willing to let go of the limitations and bondages of the past, says the Lord. Trust Me!

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

One may have awakened early this morning.  One may have realized the clocks went back one hour.  One adjusted the time on the microwave.  One logged onto one’s computer.  One may have gone to various sites.  One may have checked the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin just before one’s praise and worship time.

One may have begun one’s praise time at 3:30 AM.  One may have cleaned the bathroom while one sang praises to the Lord.  When one finished praising with song; one confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and spoke in tongues.  One prayed for outstanding prayer requests after logging onto the website a little after 4:30 AM.

One’s right foot may not be swollen at all; it may be healed.  Thank you Jesus!  One’s left foot may feel really good; it may still be in a short leg cast

One may have done one’s assignment given to one by the Lord on Friday.  One thought that by doing this thing that one may make one’s foot injury worse.  Actually, one’s foot may seem better, it may not have felt this good in a long time.  There may be some pain present, yet it may have lessened a great deal.

One may have gone to the dental clinic at the hospital today.  One may have had one’s wisdom tooth pulled.  One prayed for a friend whom one ran into on one’s way to the clinic.  The individual may have shared that they were taking high blood pressure medicine and it made them feel weird.  One prayed for the Lord to heal them of high blood pressure.  The individual may have shared that they did not have high blood pressure; they have diabetes.  The doctor put them on this medication to help the diabetes.  One then prayed for their diabetes to be healed.

One may have shared with the individual a recent testimony one had watched from the Late Frances Hunter where the Lord had healed Frances of diabetes and gave her a new pancreas.  One’s friend may have said, “God can heal anything.” One may have been impressed by the individual’s level of faith.

One may have prayed for an individual with a toothache in the waiting room.  One prayed for a blue 100 and a MERT alert victim that was announced over the loud speaker.  Thank you Jesus!  One prayed for one’s mouth to be healed in the name of Jesus soon after the tooth had been pulled.

One may have talked with the receptionists.  One of the individual’s went to school with one’s older sister and knew one’s family.  One may have shared one’s story with these individuals.

One may have left the clinic and was standing in front of the elevators.  One decided to go back and talk with the physician who had pulled one’s tooth.  One may have been so pleased with the procedure that one wanted the individual to treat one’s remaining tooth where the crown came off a root canal.  The doctor suggested that one come back in a week and that it would be taken care of then.  Thank you Jesus!

While walking in the parking lot, one noticed that one was in the wrong row.  One cut between the cars and one’s car may have been right in front of one.  Thank you Jesus!

When one arrived home, one decided to go to Wal-Mart to get Ibuprofen to help with pain or swelling that might occur.  The Novocain had begun to wear off and one did not know what to expect.  The area where one’s tooth had been pulled seemed sensitive and one could feel the roughness of sterile gauzes one had to replace over the wound every half an hour.

While at the store, one got the Ibuprofen and had picked up a few other items as well.  While at the check out counter, one proceeded to pay for the items; one realized that one had forgotten one’s bankcard at home.  One was too put out.  Realizing that there was not any others alternatives but to leave and go home, one may have said to the cashier, “I just had my tooth pulled; I’m not coming back.”

While in the car, one may have called home and spoke with one’s son about what had occurred.  One’s son offered to go back to the store for one.

When one got home, dinner may have been ready.  One’s diet was supposed to be soft foods.  One may have eaten homemade mashed potatoes; they were really good.  One may have gotten several helpings.  One looked at the baked chicken and thought, “Well, I could cut it up real fine.”  One decided to eat the chicken; one did not cut it up, one ate it just the way it came off the bone.  The chicken may have been so good that one decided to eat another piece.

One may have decided that one did not need any pain medication.  One may not be in pain; one may be fine.  Thank you Jesus, The Great Physician!
