SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Take the time necessary to relax and recover from the stress and pressure that you have experienced recently. You will need to come into My presence softly, not coming to do business or to pray and intercede, but coming into My atmosphere where you can thrive spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. Come and be refreshed, says the Lord.

Acts 3:19 “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song for the first half hour with periods of silence which may have allowed one enter into the Lord’s presence.  At 4:00 AM one may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.

One may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Psalm 119:89-96.  Thank You Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns–01/06/12:

Stay in the flow, and hindrances will go. The forces that have hindered your progress and kept you from fulfilling your intentions will be there only until you deliberately allow My Spirit to move you with the anointing of ease. Relax, and let this flow carry you forth without stress or strain. Be lifted up and moved by My power, says the Lord.

Psalms 27:6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.

Only Believe

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 2/8/11:

Don’t be afraid to take a break and relax. Your intensity in finding solutions to the problems you face will not even come close to the benefits of quiet rest in My presence and trusting Me to give you the necessary wisdom for breakthrough. This is not a time to tough it out in the strength of your own soul; it is a time to exercise resolute faith in My ability and willingness to bring you through every trial in victory, says the Lord. Only believe!

Psalm 107:28-31 Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm, so that its waves are still. Then they are glad because they are quiet; so He guides them to their desired haven. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!

One may have overslept this morning.  One may not have heard the alarms; one’s phone may have been on silent mode

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 4:46 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins (including being late for one’s prayer time), thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to 1 Kings 18.  Thank You Jesus!
