I Speak To Those Of You, My People, Who Have Become Apathetic In What I have Given You To do

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 6/14/11:

I speak to those of you, My people, who have become apathetic in what I have given you to do. You have lost enthusiasm and interest, and your focus has shifted from thanksgiving for work and provision to just doing a job and even to resentment. Beloved, it would be good for you to adjust your attitude so that you can see through the eyes of the Spirit to see what you do not as mundane but as an opportunity to exhibit excellence. You will then have a chance to demonstrate My kingdom, says the Lord.

Colossians 3:22-24 Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

One may have checked one’s alarm this morning; it may have been 3:35 AM and one may have been late for one’s special time with Jesus.  One may have finally entered one’s prayer closet at 3:45 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  One may have been led to 2 Chronicles 14 – Asa, king of Judah.  Thank You Jesus!

Be Reminded That You Are In A Season Of Restoration

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 5/10/11:

I speak to those who feel disconnected either from Me, says the Lord, or those who have been a source of encouragement in the past. You have not set out deliberately to pull away, but your focus has shifted and your life has taken a different turn. Now is the time to re-evaluate your life’s direction and consider the relationships that are important to you and then choose to let some go while reconnecting with others. Be reminded that you are in a season of restoration, and there are things that need to be recovered at this time.

Proverbs 25:25 As cold water to a weary soul, so is good news from a far country.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to 1 Corinthians 13 – Do everything with love.  Thank You Jesus!

You Are Living In Perilous Times Where The Greatest Peril Of All Is To Be Asleep Spiritually

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — August 25, 2010:

I am shaking you, says the Lord. This is not a violent or destructive shaking; it is a gentle but persistent shaking to awaken you from the sleep of complacency and the doldrums. I am calling you to awaken from this slumber of religious routine and spiritual boredom to renewed awareness and excitement of spiritual reality. Many of you, My people, have shifted your focus from life in the Spirit to life in the flesh. It is time to renew your commitment and stir up your desire and zeal for the things of the Spirit. You are living in perilous times where the greatest peril of all is to be asleep spiritually.

Matthew 25:1-13 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.”
