Watch For Opportunities To Forgive And Move On When Temptation Arises For Offense

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 3/17/11:

Watch for opportunities to forgive and move on when the temptation arises for offense. You may feel discounted or rejected, but you must not take it as a personal assault. This is the work of the enemy to get you to open the door to sin. These are times when you must return good for evil and stand on righteous ground, says the Lord.

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

One may have felt better this morning.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have begun one’s praise to the Lord at 3:32 AM.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Proverbs 24.  Thank You Jesus!

You Cannot Hear When You Are In Any Kind Of Sin

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — April 15, 2010:

I hear the cries of those who desire to have greater discernment and to hear My voice more clearly. And, I tell you, beloved, that it is not only desirable, but it is also possible. All you have to do is to clear your soul of all darkness so that only light and good and truth exist. You cannot hear clearly when you are conflicted or double-minded. You cannot hear when you are offended, critical or judgmental. You cannot hear when you are in any kind of sin. Return to Me, says the Lord, and be done with the works of the flesh and all darkness and let My light shine forth, says the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

One may have awakened this morning and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have thought that one may be guilty of each of these sins throughout one’s day.  Wow!  Wake up call!  Thank you Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  By 3:38 AM, one’s dog may have been crying to go outside.  One may hate going out into the night this time of morning.  One may have taken the dog outside briefly and hurried back.

One may have praised the Lord before going outside.  Upon one’s return one may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Zechariah 9.  Thank you Jesus.

One may logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank You Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, amen.

Your Sin Is Covered By The Cleansing Blood Of Redemption

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — March 24, 2010:

I hear the cries of My righteous ones, and I hear your prayers asking that I would show you your fault. But, I say, enter into the place of quiet contemplation by the Spirit, and you will see only Me, says the Lord. Your sin is covered by the cleansing blood of redemption, and I will lead you in the way of freedom. Be done with guilt, shame, and condemnation. For, I am bringing to perfection the good work that I have begun in you.

1 John 3:20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

One may have heard the alarm go off at 3:00 AM and may have thought to reset it for 3:20 AM.  One may have fallen back asleep.  This may have gone on repeatedly as the alarm blared every five minutes for the appointed number of times.

One may have awakened on one’s own.  One may have noticed that there were no alarms sounding, it may have been too quiet.  One may have checked the time and one may have been late for one’s prayer closet time.

One may have checked the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:40 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to John 10.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Lord Jesus, thank you for hearing and answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, amen.
