The Enemy Has Laid A Snare For Those Who Have Become Over-Confident And Careless

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Complacency is a weapon formed against you. This is a time when you should be pressing through every hindrance to your relationship with Me, says the Lord. It is not a time to become self-satisfied or to justify spiritual laziness. The enemy has laid a snare for those who have become over-confident and careless. You live in troubled times, and it is vital that you establish the eternal kingdom in yourself and in your surroundings so that My light can shine in the darkness of the world.

Luke 11:33-36 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light. The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.”

I Am Your Salvation And Deliverance If You Will Only Look Up And Believe

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 12/14/2010:

The deep darkness around you has been a grief and a snare, but in the midst of the darkness you have heard My voice calling you to seek My face and to come to the light of My countenance. My ears are not deaf to your cries, nor is My arm too short to save. I am you salvation and deliverance if you will only look up and believe, says the Lord.

Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.

Refuse To Look At What You Don’t Have Instead Of Being Grateful For What You Do Have

It’s All About Jesus!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 11/25/2010:

Beloved, this is a time when you must refrain from comparing yourself to others. The enemy’s desire is to tempt you to open a door for his access by focusing on your lack. Refuse to look at what you don’t have instead of being grateful for what you do have. This is a snare and a trap that will take you down to the pit of discouragement and depression. Keep looking up, says the Lord.

2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

One may have awakened early.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have thought about the word “pit” and may have been disturbed by the Lord’s choice of words.  “Pit” may refer to hell.  One may have thought that one may need to make a quick attitude change in one’s behavior lately.  One may take heed and  have been encouraged.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Isaiah 48.  Thank You Jesus!

I Move On Those Who Are Moving

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — March 22, 2010:

Many of My people find themselves in a present quandary, not knowing what to do; seeking Me for answers. Because the lies have come there is a quandary, and you do not understand and do not know what I will do. So, I say, rise up and give legs to your faith. Is it not spoken in My word that I will give you wisdom? And, if you will believe for that wisdom will you not receive it? What are you waiting for? Get up and go! Get up and move! Many of you, My people, are waiting for Me to move while all the time I am waiting for you to move. I am waiting for you to exercise your faith to believe and to receive. Be done with the quandary and allow the confusion to go and allow the questioning of My word and questioning of My desires to be dismissed from you. Remove the lies of the enemy so that you can get up and go. I move on those who are moving. Stop waiting for Me to move, says the Lord, and begin to move by faith; move by truth. As you begin to move you will find those things which you desire; the wisdom that is necessary; the open doors that I have set before you. Walk through them. You must be walking and moving by your faith. So, one more time I say, give legs to faith and allow that which I am doing to come to pass in this time and season, says the Lord Most Holy.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — March 22, 2010:

In a vision I saw a brier patch, then a tangle of twigs, and then a snare or a trap. I believe these all mean the same thing. A brier patch is a mass of woody, thorny, prickly-stemmed plants. A tangle is a twisted mass. A snare is something by which one is entangled. Then, I heard the Lord say that He will give us discernment of thoughts or situations that have the potential of entangling us by bringing us into confusion. Then, as we yield to His power of extrication, He will set us free and bring absolute clarity of spirit and soul.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

One may have awakened this morning and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have looked up the word “quandary”.

  • quandary – predicament, plight, difficult situation, awkward situation, trouble, meddle, mess, confusion, difficulty, dilemma, mare’s nest; informal sticky situation, pickle, hole, stew, fix, bind, jam.

One may have continue to read the message very slowly and thoroughly.  One may not have wanted to miss anything.  As one may have read, one may have thought what the title might be for today’s message.  One may want something that may draw the reader.

Truly, one may believe that each person is drawn to read these messages by the Lord and that it is His doing.  So one’s title may be secondary if anything at all.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet late, after 3:30 AM.  One may have spent too much time reading the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  Also, one may have looked for an item that one may have been unable to find.

One may have started one’s praise to the Lord with song while looking for the object and doing other things while outside of one’s prayer closet.  One may have felt led to look into a certain room for the object.  One may have said to the Lord that one would look there.  One may have been looking everywhere else and chose to look in this place last, thinking that it may not be there.

One may have entered the room and may not have seen anything.  One may have looked elsewhere and all around only to find oneself back in the room.

One may have turned on the light and really looked.  The object may have been there on the floor.  Thank you Lord for leading one to this particular room.

One may have finished praising in one’s prayer closet.  One may have confessed one’s sins and thanked the Lord.  One may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Job 34.  Thank you Jesus!
