I Have Equipped You To Accomplish All That Is Before You

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — August 19, 2010:

Even as you are pushing through to bring closure to the things of the past, your spiritual landscape is changing. Stay with Me, says the Lord. Don’t get stuck in your desire to put your feet up and take a break. To do so would keep you from maintaining the spiritual flow. Refuse to entertain the idea that you are a victim of life’s demands; just keep moving. I have equipped you to accomplish all that is before you.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

One may have awakened to the sound of one’s alarm only to fall back asleep.  One may have awakened minutes before 5:00 AM.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have readied oneself and may have entered one’s prayer closet at 4:57 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins (including being late for one’s special time with Jesus), thanked the Lord, and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Jeremiah 38.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Keep Your Eyes Open, Your Discernment Sharp, And Your Heart Willing

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — March 3, 2010:

Now is a time when you can catch up in various ways. You will have opportunities to fix things that have needed to be fixed or adjusted for some time. Also think beyond the natural scheme of things into the realm of your spiritual landscape as things come to light that require correction or adjustment. Again, flexibility is the key to moving through this time victoriously. All you need is to keep your eyes open, your discernment sharp, and your heart willing, says the Lord.

Proverbs 10:17 He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray.

One may have awakened early this morning.  One may have gotten on the computer.  One may have checked the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin just before entering one’s prayer closet.  Again, the message may have hit home and one may have been encouraged.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet a little before 3:30 AM.  One may have begun to clean the area.  One may have been thinking about many things and then one remembered that it should be time for one to begin praising the Lord.

One may have begun to sing.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed for the sick and prayed for a passage of scripture from the Lord for today.  One may have been led to Psalms 34.  Thank you Jesus.
