Stay Focused On Me And Allow Truth And Righteousness To Prevail

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Sept. 2, 2010:

Chaotic conditions abound, but you do not have to be affected by your environment if you stay in My presence and maintain peace and order, says the Lord. Stay focused on Me and allow truth and righteousness to prevail. This is a time when it is better to stay quiet so that you can perceive and discern the spiritual atmosphere and be ready to prevail over all evil. And, after you’ve done what you can do, stand in a strong and uncompromising position.

Ephesians 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

One may have awakened early this morning and may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today after it may have been received in one’s e-mail inbox.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Acts 4.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Obedience Is The Key

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — August 27, 2010:

Watch and be on the alert for people who will try to take advantage of you. They will be motivated by selfishness and a sense of desperation without regard for your rights, space or boundaries. You must stand your ground and not be afraid to say NO; not just from a position of self-preservation, but because your real need is to stay in the flow of My Spirit and to respond only to My leading, says the Lord. Obedience is the key. Be strong and resolute.

Isaiah 30:21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.

One may have awakened this morning to the sound of the 3:00 AM alarm.  One may have logged onto one’s computer.  The Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin may have come at 3:04 AM.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin and may have been encouraged.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet a little before 3:30 AM (one’s start-time).  One may have been so engrossed in thought about a situation that one may have begun one’s praise late.  One may have apologized to Jesus and may have begun to be engrossed in outside thoughts again.

One may have come to one’s self after a while and may have apologized to the Lord for a second time.  One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to John 18.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Come Up Here And Let Me Reveal Spiritual Truth Through My Life-Giving Spirit, Say The Lord

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — August 18, 2010:

If you are going to come higher and stand with Me on that high plateau of revelation, you must release everything that anchors you to the world. Let go of everything that holds you down. Be done with the fear of man, fear of loss and failure, and carnal desires. Rise up! Come up here and let Me reveal spiritual truth through My life-giving Spirit, says the Lord. You will be delighted and thrilled as you experience true liberty.

Acts 26:16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.

One may have awakened to the sound of one’s alarm.  One may have checked the time; it may have been 3:30 AM.  One may have dashed to one’s prayer closet and may have begun to praise the Lord.  One may have been so tired; one may have had a late night.  One may have been glad that one may not have been late for one’s special time with Jesus.

After praising the Lord one may have left one’s prayer closet to read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have grabbed a few necessary items, fed the cat and may have headed back to one’s prayer closet.

One may have confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord, prayed briefly for the sick and one may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Luke 15.

With a smile on one’s face, one may have said aloud, “Lord, you have got to be kidding,” yesterday’s passage of scripture may have been Luke 14.  One may have read today’s passage of scripture.

As one may have been exiting one’s prayer closet, one may have smiled again at the thought of God’s choice for today’s passage of scripture.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer request according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Ask For Wisdom, And I Will Give It To You Without Holding Anything Back

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — July 29, 2010:

Beloved, no matter how bleak and hopeless a situation looks or how distant victory may seem, I call you to rise up and overcome. If you will believe My word and stand in faith, truth and righteousness will prevail. Don’t look to the right or to the left or to the future, but maintain vision and focus to do what is required right now where you are. Ask for wisdom, and I will give it to you without holding anything back, says the Lord.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

One may have awakened at 3:20 AM this morning and may have checked for the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  It may not have been there.  One may have retrieved one’s e-mail in vain.

One may have thought to go the Bill and Marsha Burns website as one may have done the previous morning.  Yesterday’s Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin may have been posted.

Let Faith Be The Foundation That You Stand On To Generate Kingdom Life

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns — June 28, 2010:

Come My children and let us reason together. Your ways are not My ways, but if you will partake of My word and open yourselves to the flow of My spirit, then out of your inner most being shall flow rivers of life; rivers of living water. Then, the manifestation of the kingdom shall flow forth into the world and out of you My words shall bring direction. So I say arise into the activity of the kingdom by faith where it is My purpose to guide you; to lead you; to compel you; to instruct you in the ways you should go. Let faith be the foundation that you stand on to generate kingdom life, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — June 28, 2010:

In the Spirit I saw a woman dancing in worship to the Lord. As I watched, her feet were no longer on the ground even though she was still dancing. Then, she was dancing in mid-air high above the ground. I believe the woman is the Bride, and the joy of her worship will bring elevation in the realm of the Spirit.

Psalms 48:2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

One may have awakened and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Ezekiel 43.  Thank You Jesus!

Rise Up In The Authority I Have Given You To Defeat The Powers Of Darkness

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 28, 2010:

I have spoken to you about a time of war and entering a higher level of warfare. Did you think you would not be attacked? For, indeed, the devil is seeking to bring destruction where he can. You, My people, must be awake, alert and aware, and rise up in the authority I have given you to defeat the powers of darkness that have come out against you. When you take a stand and fight, you will find that the enemy who has come against you one way will flee seven ways. Do not fear. Be courageous and bold, and the enemy will be under your feet shortly, says the Lord.

Romans 16:20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen

One may have awakened this morning.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have paused after the first two sentences and wondered if the Lord may have been talking directly to one.  One may have asked the Lord questions concerning attacks from the enemy lately.  Thank You Lord Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet on time.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Psalms 80.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have left one’s prayer closet and attempted to log onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  One’s Internet service may have been unavailable.  One may have rebooted one’s computer, shut down and restarted one’s router and modem.  Still, one may have been unable to connect and attributed the whole incidence to one’s Internet provider.

One may have done some writing.  One may have believed in one’s heart that the service would be working by the time one may have been ready to get up for the day.  When one may have awakened later this morning, one’s service may have been on.

One may take the time to pray for outstanding prayer requests soon.  Thank You Lord for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Beloved, Be Slow To Anger And Quick To Forgive

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 13, 2010:

Beloved, be slow to anger and quick to forgive. I tell you the truth that the enemy has released forces of darkness against you to tempt you to be offended. But, you must stand in a place of forgiveness and not open the door through carnal responses to what other’s have done. Remember that you will reap what you sow; if you are offended with others, you will become offensive. Release all resentment and extend mercy, says the Lord.

James 1:19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.

One may have overslept this morning.  One may have gone to bed after 12:00 AM this morning.  One may have been exhausted.  One may have apologized to the Lord before going to sleep.  One may have known in one’s heart that one would not awaken for one’s special time with Jesus.

To one’s dismay it may have been a little before 6:00 AM before one would be awakened by one’s daughter.  One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  One may have been encouraged.  One may have thought to just pray and confess tomorrow morning.

Later this morning, one may have attempted to praise the Lord, confess one’s sins and pray for the outstanding prayer requests online.  One may have done so with interruptions.

One may have just prayed for a passage of scripture.  One may have been led to Ecclesiastes 9.  Thank You Jesus!

Lord Jesus, thank you for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, amen.

You Must Turn Back The Battle At The Gate

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — May 5, 2010:

Beloved, you must turn back the battle at the gate — stop the enemy’s entrance and defeat him at the first sign of fear, discouragement, disappointment, or hopelessness. You will be tempted by negative emotions on many levels, but you must refuse to allow them to take control or overwhelm you in any way. I will strengthen you to overcome as you rise up and take a stand against these attacks, says the Lord.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Isaiah 28:6b … for strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

One may have awakened and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank You Jesus!

One may have entered one’s prayer closet.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for one’s blog today.  One may have been led to Ezekiel 27.

One may have paused before writing the previous sentence.  One may have grabbed one’s Bible.  One may not have remembered the scripture for today.  One may have asked the Lord for help.

One may have been led to a passage of scripture that one may have been looking at earlier today in 1 kings.  This may not have been the chosen passage of scripture for today’s blog.  The Holy Spirit may have simply brought the name of the book back to one, then the chapter.  Thank You Jesus and Holy Spirit for your help.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank You Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, amen.

For What I Build Will Stand And Not Be Torn Down

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — April 7, 2010:

Remember that I have shown you that you are able to begin again on a clean foundation free from the works of the flesh, but I also want you to know that building by the Spirit has already begun. What I build will stand and not be torn down, for it is an eternal work. Your part in this process is to cooperate with My Spirit in this process and refrain from doing your own thing, says the Lord. Be sensitive to My leading.

Psalms 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

One may have awakened to the sound of the 3:00 AM alarm.  One may have reset it for 3:20 AM.  One may have thought to get up just a little before 3:20 AM.  The alarm went off.

One may have got up and logged onto one’s computer.  One’s printer began to come alive, churning as if it had something to print.  One may have initially thought that one’s daughter may be printing something from her bedroom.  We may have a WIFI capable printer.

The printer may have printed a document.  It may have printed, “according to your perfect will, amen.”  One thought this very odd.  One may consistently end one’s blogs this way.

One may have opened MS Word and checked the document from the previous day’s blog.  There may have been too much text on the second page and one knew that the printer had not printed from this document.  Also, no documents were open in MS Word.  One may have wondered if Jesus was giving one a direct message.  If so, what does this mean?

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.  One may have been encouraged.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet at 3:30 AM and may have taken along the document and a few other items.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for a passage of scripture for today’s blog.  One may have been led to Jeremiah 17.  Thank you Jesus.

One may have left one’s prayer closet.  One may have recorded the approximate time and date that this phenomenon (document mysteriously printing) occurred and put it away with one’s important documents.  One may have called one’s daughter to see if they had printed anything from the printer.  One’s daughter may have been asleep at that time and told one that they had not printed anything.

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, amen.

A Strong And Important Test Of Your Discernment

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — January 29, 2010:

The enemy has released an attack against you to press you into service in ways that I have not called you, says the Lord. And, if you refuse, he will heap up condemnation against you to try to force you to be misled and distracted. Recognize this onslaught for what it is and stand firm without remorse or regret. This will be a strong and important test of your discernment. Quiet your thoughts and emotions so that you can know in every situation whether or not you have the witness of the Spirit with your spirit as to what you must do.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit…

One may have awakened after midnight and worked until one’s time to check the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin.  Upon reading the message, one may have thought, “Oh No!”  One may hate the attacks of the enemy, yet, one may be grateful for the help from the Lord.

One may have entered one’s prayer closet just before 3:30 AM and began to clean and share one’s concerns with the Lord.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.  One may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today.

One may not have remembered the passage of scripture for today as one may have been writing this blog.  One may have asked the Lord in one’s mind to help one remember.  One may have felt fear and queasiness at the that thought that one may have messed up.  Before the feeling could last a second more, the Holy Spirit may have brought it back to one’s remembrance immediately.  It may have been Psalms 107.  Thank you Jesus!  Thank you Holy Spirit!

At 4:30 AM, one may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  Thank you Lord Jesus for answering each prayer request according to your perfect will.

One’s cell phone may be working perfectly fine.  It may have done some really weird things recently.  One may have captured it in a previous blog.

Have a blessed day!
