Put Your Confidence In Me, Says The Lord; I Can Do What You Cannot

It’s All About Jesus!

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 10/4/11:

Refuse to be overwhelmed by the circumstances and situations that you are now facing and having to deal with. Maintain your peace and stay calm, for I will certainly take you through this time with great grace. Know that you are well able to accomplish what is before you to do even when you doubt your abilities. Put your confidence in Me, says the Lord. I can do what you cannot.

Mark 10:27 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

Be prepared to power through surprise events that take you off guard. You will definitely need to be flexible and willing to stay calm when spiritual storms arise. Your prayers of faith are a powerful influence in times of disruption and anxiety. Be instant in and out of season ready to meet every challenge, says the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — February 9, 2010:

Beloved, you have not been this way before, and I am bringing you along in a leisurely fashion so you don’t miss anything along the way. There is much for you to learn and grow from in these days, things that will reveal your heart with deeper and more complete understanding. This is no time to clamor in fear or frantically try to maintain status quo, but it is a time when you can quietly receive wisdom, guidance and resolution that will serve you immeasurably in the days ahead, says the Lord. Stay calm.

Proverbs 17:27 He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.

One may have awakened on one’s own this morning.  One may have checked the time.  It may have been after 5:00 AM.  One may have overslept for one’s prayer time with Jesus.  One may not have heard the alarms or they may not have gone off, one may not be sure.

One may have checked the Spirit of Prophecy bulletin and entered one’s prayer closet at 5:25 AM.  One may have praised the Lord with song, confessed one’s sins, thanked the Lord and prayed for the sick.

One may have prayed for a passage of scripture for today.  The Lord may have led one to Luke 4.  Thank you Jesus!

One may have logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests this evening.  Lord, thank you for hearing and answering each prayer request according to your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, amen.
